Must visit! Excellent meats, priced close to supermarket but far exceeding their quality. Prepared food is available but I've only had the chili, which was delicious and meaty.Nice people deliver excellent service, come support out local businesses.

I read the reviews and heard good things so I was excited to try it. Didn't realize it wasn't a restaurant well not a sit down restaurant. They sell meats and sides and fresh sourdough. They do a lot of catering and special events. They do have sandwiches and meat box specials. I tried the tri tip and the pulled pork and both were delicious but I found the tri tip a bit salty but duh put it on some sourdough and BAM add some fresh roasted garlic (oh heck yeah) I kept eating. The people were friendly and it's cute inside with some hats for sale and some horns hanging. I'm going to have them cater an event in a few weeks and they were willing to work with me on the menu and make adjustments if I wanted. I'd check em out. It's nice you can order a meat box with a couple sides and essentially try before you go crazy in here.

I love OBMC. I don't come by nearly as often as I would like. They have a great selection of meats to bring home and cook up and staff are happy to make recommendations. Hot food is great too! Their sandwiches are killer and their ribs and burnt ends are always flavorful and fall off the bone. It always smells like a bbq nearby and they actually help out the whole community from their kitchen. I'm a big fan of supporting them!

Absolutely horrible I should have trusted my instincts and learned from the first time I came. I got a burnt ends burger with no burnt ends, this would be considered false advertising. The guy got snippy with me when I told him I was displeased. Nothing like spending $16 and still being hungry and having to go down the block to eat if I'm lucky. I don't mind spending allot of money on small portions of food but hopefully it tastes good but this wasn't the case. To be fair he said it was a burnt end burger but my thinking told me it was burnt ends between the buns.

Delicious BBQ! And everyone was super nice. Laid back and fun atmosphere, I felt so welcome there and really enjoyed the food.

Great food and great people. The pre made sides are not only convenient but super creative and tasty. Can't recommend enough!

The burnt ends are great went here on a whim because I drove past it. Dani , I'm not sure how the spelling of it is she was very nice and helpful with suggestions and letting me know what the weekly specials were. The food was good I want to try more of their bbq the potato salad was good and I would get it again the hush puppies are like jalepenos poppers they have a jalepenos cream cheese inside surprising and tasty. I want to try their tri tip, Mac n cheese and rib tips so I will be back. I didn't see any desserts so maybe walk around Newport and yo will find something

No longer in business. There is a Cubano sandwich shop there now, but they haven't taken down the sign yet.

Unfortunately this restaurant's surcharge policy goes against federal law. When I asked one of the employees, I was told they apply surcharges to all non-cash orders, when federal law only allows surcharges on credit cards (see here: https://www.merchantmaverick.com/credit-card-surcharges/). Very disappointing, I heard their food was very good (and it was). Hopefully they can change this policy so we can enjoy this place without the weird illegal fees!
