Excellent move that has been a year now to 2439 W. Devon (prev occupied by Hema's Kitchen - which also moved here from a side street way back when).. Larger space and more visible than their N. Bell location.Though they've added staff at this location for the larger restaurant, you'll still want to be patient. (I think there's more staff in the kitchen too and some will help with the front of the house too). Patience will be worth it as our food seems to be even better than N. Bell. No more need for bottled water at the tables, as it is provided in glassware at the table. We did start again with the mixed veg/non-veg appetizer sampler (about 3 pcs of each kind and is a large plate at $15). Veg thali and chicken kohlapuri were our entree choices and they were generous too. Veg thali came with a big chapati (thicker than we remember) - big and hot along with the naan we added so that we had breads to take home. Oberoi's does not skimp on rice provided with entrees here. Veg thali options were excellent (baigan bharta, cauliflower/potato, daal, and paneer, carrot halwa).Primary server juggled well serving the customers that came in Saturday night and the unobstructed dining room makes it easy for them along with rest of the staff to see who may need attention.

Happy with this place. The chili cauliflower was amazing! All the food was good.1 less star because the menus were dirty and the service needed help. The server's english was loted and his apron was dirty.

I've had takeout from here so many times. I've also ordered catering for 60 people from here too. Oberoi's is reliable and delicious. The owner is a great community-builder and has a strong interest in getting to know his patrons and guiding them to pick delicious entrees. This is my Indian restaurant of choice in the Devon neighborhood.

The place doesn't look like much when you walk in, but the food is excellent and the service is friendly and professional. I came here with my family and we initially considered leaving because I had mistaken the restaurant for a different one and the ambiance was a little dead even though we arrived around 7pm and we were the only people there. But the place livened up as more people started to come in. The food was delicious. The grilled shrimp was some of the best I've had. The curries were all flavorful and perfectly spiced. You got a nice kick from each of them, but nothing was overwhelming. The naan was soft on the inside, slightly crispy on the outside, and full of good subtle flavor that accented all of the food nicely. My only criticism of the food was that the vegetables in the veggie curry seemed to be from a frozen veggie medley (delicious nonetheless!). We had a nice goat curry that was something a little unusual on a menu too. This may not be the absolute best Indian restaurant in the area, but it's a very good one that I would happily go back to.

We ordered from door dash. We have had better Indian food. The lamb saag was very spinachy and didn't have much herbs and spices so we only tasted the spinach. The lamb Rohan Josh was a little watery and could also use more flavor. We were surprised it came with rice. Over the price was cheaper than other places but lacked flavor. You get what you pay for lol

Devon is a challenging street to park, but I found a space right in front of the entrance somehow?!? It's really nice inside; homey and relaxing. What I ordered was authentic and delicious. The woman who managed the order was very on top of it.

Oordered here for the first time, the Vegetable Pakora was very salty, so was the papadum wafers. Goat curry was good.

I have to update and reduce my rating slightly. It is still good. However, my goat biryani was consistent with what others have said here. No meat, just bones. Bit of a disappointment. Butter chicken still good. Saag paneer and samosas still very good.

The food was great and the place was cozy. Parking was a challenge, but if you drive around the neighborhood, you'll find parking.
