OB Brewery

Cool three story restaurant / bar located right off Ocean Beach. We sat on the top floor with our dog and could watch the ocean and the street below. They had self serve waters, which makes it quick and easy to get a refill whenever needed. There is also a fuse ball table on the second floor, and bars located on both the bottom and top floor. The bathrooms aren't the greatest!We got the Mahi Mahi Tacos, Onion Rings, Chicken Tenders, and a Cheeseburger. Everything came out pretty quickly and was pretty tasty. The Mahi Mahi tacos had a tasty, decent-sized piece of fish in each taco. They also had dog bowls for thirsty dogs :)

I would give 0 stars but not possible. This place is not kid or autism friendly. My kid was playing on the broken football table. Moving the rods back and forth as the purpose. An employee with blonde hair a cooks shirt and one small braid in the back of his hair. Came up saying my kid broke the table and it's brand new. I attached pictures of this table they claim was new.Made my kid uncomfortable. And when i complained to the manager she decided to yell across the bar no one cares or took my complaint seriously.This place is unprofessional. Employees are assholes. Plenty of better places to eat and drink. The foods matches the employees personalities.

We stopped into the OB Brewery for just one while enjoying a Saturday in OB.We ordered at the bar on the ground floor and then took our beverages up the stairs to the top (3rd) floor outdoor, rooftop patio.Beautiful views and I enjoyed a really good house beer, B. Right On pale ale although it could've been served at a colder temperature. OB Brewery does not brew a hard seltzer so Bex settled for whatever it was that they had in the fridge. There was no table service, not sure when that starts on weekends. We were there around 1:00 PM. There was only the one girl beertending on the ground floor. If we wanted a second round, we would've had to take the stairs all the way down, then wait in line for our drinks, then climb the stairs back to the top.

Come here on Saturday afternoon around 5pm for drinks after spending the day at the beach. It has 3 floors here, bottom floor is where you order food and then seat yourself wherever. Second floor has limited seating cause it's bathrooms and the gaming floor, they have fooseball and shuffleboard. Top floor has phenomenal 360 views all around from the ocean view and the street view. It does get really packed up there in the afternoon, it's first come first serve up there and they don't allow dogs up there. We came here for drinks and a small snack. We got onion rings we're ok and pickle chips (they're a tad spicy). Staff was friendly there.

One of my favorite places in OB! Food, service and views are AMAZING! Dog friendly. Jayme will go out of her way to make your experience the best it can be. Really, all the staff are great. Also, don't miss out on their happy hour deals. Highly recommend!

Off the main tourist radar in San Diego is OB Brewery, in the wonderful beach area of Ocean Beach. It's only a few blocks from the beach, and the main allure is the rooftop patio with views of the ocean & pier in the distance.I tried some mozzarella sticks and a fried chicken sandwich. The mozzarella sticks (2.5/5) were hearty, but of a standard frozen food service variety without much flavor. The chicken sandwich (3.5/5) was decent and tasty, served on a great brioche bun which elevated the sandwich experience. The fries served with the sandwich were fresh, but otherwise average. The Yelp check in offer for a beer sampler was honored, and the wheat beer sampled was solid. The service and atmosphere (4.5/5) is what elevated the overall experience as the staff was extremely laid back, yet cordial and friendly. I'd recommend a visit to OB Brewery as it has some great vibes and it's always a treat to have a meal or drinks with peaceful ocean views.

We chose this place because of the rooftop view of the ocean at sunset. It was very nice only slight obstructions from electric lines. They had decent greasy burgers. The service was excellent. The beer was tasty. The atmosphere was relaxed and grungy, not really my scene, but decent enough for the activities of that particular day.

I stopped by OB Brewing for a late lunch/early happy hour. They offer a full menu of American favorites along with their in-house and guest beers from across San Diego. I tried their red holiday IPA and their porter and they were both excellent. I tried the spicy fish tacos and they were decent. Not the spiciest, but the portion was generous and everything tasted fresh. The rooftop bar has lovely views of the ocean, don't miss that!

Stopped in to get a beer and appertizer. Ordering is done at the downstairs bar then you are free to pick a seat anywhere. Tried the 2 sour beers and they were pretty tasty. Ordered the onion rings and pickle poppers. Came out fairly quick.
