Oasis Fresh

Oasis Fresh is truly a hidden gem! It's easy to overlook as a passerby, but you'll definitely want to pay a visit if you're in the area. The food is fresh and high quality as advertised, with a lot of value for the price. Their menu has all of the standard middle eastern street food staples and more. With so many delicious-looking options, the hardest part was deciding what to order! I opted for the gyro wrap with a side of falafel, which was impressively crispy without being dry. The food was well-packaged and arrived warm via delivery, with generous portions even lasting for another meal.Needless to say, this will be a new go-to. Am already looking forward to the next visit, and highly encourage checking Oasis Fresh out!

Ordered once from Oasis, the food was alright, not overly amazing. Grape Leaves: first time trying this, I didn't expect this to be a cold dish. I loved and enjoyed my first few bites, but couldn't finish the rest. I love sour things, but this was REALLY sour. Sour + cold was just not right for me. Grilled Shrimp platter with extra chicken: the portion was big and came with large amount of ordered proteins. The grilled shrimp and chicken were perfectly seasoned. The hummus was nice and warm which went well with the warmed pita bread. The salad was refreshing. Baba Ghanouj: I ordered a small and the portion was huge! It is a cold spread, but still paired well with the pita bread. This is also very sour, especially near the end. This is good, but not the best I had. Hummus: ordered a small hummus with pita bread (starter), it came cold unlike the warmed hummus in the platters. Cold hummus didn't taste as enjoyable and delicious as the warmed hummus. I'm not sure how this is served for dine-in, but it would be great if this spread can be served warmed (or have the option to be warmed). Overall, this place gave me a lot of surprises. Affordable pricing for a standard Mediterranean meal. The packing for my order was kind of rough, could be improved.

Delicious food, big portions, and reasonable prices. We ordered takeout and were pleasantly surprised by the large portions and unique toppings we could add to our bowls like the grape leaves and hot giardiniera. The baba ghanouj was so delicious and was a great addition to my bowl. I also love how the bowls come with a pita. Can't wait to go try out the food at the restaurant!

We came here for non-fried shrimp, down the street from a relative. This is one of those locations that changes identity a lot, so I hope this place remains for a while. We placed an order for a shrimp rice bowl, which came with salad, hummus, pita bread and lentil rice. The guy told us 10 minutes so we left for an errand and came back. The food was all good, well cooked too. The hummus was a tad bland but it was fine otherwise. There appeared to be just ONE guy (maybe 2 tops) doing a little of everything, so they must be short staffed. I'd like to go back if I'm not in a hurry and can order in advance. I hope they get more help in there too.(no I am not volunteering, that'd be a nightmare!)

I cannot believe I haven't already written a review for Oasis Fresh. It's truly a gem in the community. I was always very meh about Mediterranean food- just never really liked it much. But one trip to Oasis Fresh (unwillingly) completely changed my world. I think I went back every week for a month after my first visit..Food is fresh, consistent, so so so well-seasoned. Staff is always warm and accommodating. I'm obsessed with the chicken shawarma with basmati rice platter and it's a plus that the serving size is big enough for two meals. Long story short, if you like Mediterranean food at all- or even if you don't, just go and try it. You can thank me later.

FIVE STARS HANDS DOWN.Absolutely outstanding food. The Jordanian owner cooks the food himself and does so with extreme precision. If you're in a hurry call ahead and pickup - unless you want it uber fresh then wait and you'll be pleasantly surprised.A friend treated myself and another friend to sandwiches.I got the falafel sandwich and it was devine. The owner even threw in a comped lentil soup to try and it was a little on the chunky side but loved it!Friend got the beef kifta sandwich and he was super impressed as well. Outstanding food and if you have to wait a short while for it; it's absolutely DELISH!THANK YOU!

My friends discovered this place early last year, and on their recommendation, I tried it. I am picky with my Mediterranean food, but I am so glad I tried this place. I cannot believe I had been living so close to there for so long and not gone in, but I am a frequent customer now. Everything I have tried has been delicious. I have had the chicken shawarma, falafel with tahini sauce, and baklava for my first order. I was very impressed -- the price is amazing, the food was fresh and well seasoned, and the portions are large, so you basically get two meals. After that I've had the falafel sandwich, the beef and gyro platter, and the best meal there (in my opinion), the steak shawarma. My go to order is the steak shawarma and falafels with tahini sauce. Everything is delicious, and I especially like that you can choose how the steak is cooked (I usually get it medium). It's been tasty each time.The restaurant itself is nice and charming, and it's almost a little hole in the wall place, and it's an absolute gem. It's very clean, and staff is always kind and accommodating. To top it off, the prices are fantastic, especially for the area. It's pretty cheap in comparison to a lot of places in Lakeview/Lincoln Park, and you get two meals out of one order. I'll be a frequent customer for years to come!

Probably the best option for late night ordering. The size and quality of the wraps are solid. I'm not a huge fan of their sauces, the garlic sauce is plain. Last time I tried the oasis vinaigrette which complimented the chicken shawarma nicely.

Always know I'm getting a great meal here. I usually get take out but causal seating is available inside. Service is great, always kind and care about the work they put into your meal. I love the chicken shawarma bowl the most. It truly is always fresh.

Excellent Mediterranean fare. Their lentil soup is perfect, dolmas is excellent, falafel is very good. Pleasantly surprised at their consistency as I've ordered many times while being here. Great healthy option and generally very satisfying.
