1390 66th St Emeryville, CA 94608"Yummy's Hot Dogs" is a hotdog cart at the corner of Hollis x 66th St in Emeryville, CA. I had a nice experience here. I was driving thru Emeryville on Hollis, and decided to stop and try their dogs. The area was very clean, and I felt pretty safe. The older man running the hotdog cart greeted me, and I asked for a Polish dog. He asked for my toppings and I asked for light mustard, kraut, and raw onions. He told me this hotdog stand has been here about 15 years. He said he usually closes at 4pm. My hotdog was juicy and hot. The bun was fresh and soft. The toppings were neatly placed on the hotdog.I think the prices are fair for a quick meal.

BEST hot links ever! Hands down I stop by here whenever I have to pick up some supplies from Cal-Steam during lunch hour. I don't know the owner/chefs name but he always has a smile and has an art to how he makes his food. Been stopping at this spot since 2012 and hope he never leaves. Thanks for your hard work and service!

Hoping this place still operates. In March 2021 I got a Yummy hot dog (Hot link) and Chilicheesedog, I loved every bite. There's something about these small carts in Berkeley+Emeryville that do it for me, nice guy running the stall, the smell of steamed buns when you approach, the bonus topping of jalapeños, cilantro, mayo; it just hits the spot. Nothing fancy but a 5star nonetheless, this cart represents all that is simple and delicious. *Fingers crossed I can return!*Edit: Confirmed, they are still open, open around 10:30am

As many times as I've been here I can't believe i have never left a review. This cart is located across from rotten city pizza. Parking is somewhat challenging but luckily i work close enough where i could just walk. The gentleman that runs the cart is very friendly and polite. Prices are very fair compared to everything else in the area. I have never been disappointed ordering from here. There are several hot dog combos to order from such as beef, polish, or even Kasper dogs. Canned drinks and waters are kept nice and cold in coolers. Numerous toppings are available for your hot dogs or tamales. On this visit i was lucky enough to get a chicken tamale as he usually runs out since i take my lunches late. There are also various chips, cookies, and candies available. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this cart to anyone.

The guy is definitely friendly -- but the hot dog was merely inadequate -- nothing to recommend itself -- except very inexpensive. Way better hot dogs: Barney's; Bette's To Go; Smokehouse; Top Dog; even Wienerschnitzel!

It's a hot dog stand! I got a good quality dog with a fresh bun... too many of these places steam up stale buns. I asked for everything and he promptly loaded my jumbo dog. I also ordered the tamale w/ chili cheese and asked for onions and jalapeños, he obliged. Prices are on par with most hot dog stands, it was tasty and filling. It's a hot dog stand. So what stood out? Service... I didn't catch the guy's name, but he was friendly and attentive, he served up what I asked for, he cleaned the little table on the sidewalk. I was tipping generously but hadn't told him yet when I handed him cash, and immediately he let me know I was overpaying.

I drove passed yesterday to see flowers and a memorial sign where the Yummy Hot Dog cart usually is. Someone left a print out of a news article that read: "['Yummy' AKA, Assad, AKA Mir Afadulah Bakhtary operator of the Yummy Hot Dog cart on 66th and Hollis ] was killed by a Union Pacific freight train as it rolled through Berkeley late Monday morning, according railroad spokeswoman Zoe Richmond..."source: http://www.mercurynews.com/breakingnews/ci_11613067You will be missed. FYI: the cart is still open for business with a different Yummy.
