This is actually my second time dining here. The food is really good here along with the atmosphere! I don't often eat ramen, but as of now, this is my go to. The staff are friendly to me. It's located at Newpark Mall specifically at the area where Jack's Restaurant & Bar and Vinum is. They pretty much serve appetizers, boba, and lunch offers. When I ordered to go, they were really fast, but for some reason, they take longer as usual. I guess that they're prioritizing people who ordered to go. Anyways, I'll be trying other dishes when I come back!

This is restaurant is insides the mall. The restaurant is clean and nice ambiance. We were seated immediately on a Tuesday evening for dinner. We ordered chicken and seafood ramen. Both the ramen broths were very un flavorful. We did not like it at all . Even the chicken karage tasted just okay. Not coming back here again

The salmon teriyaki don is AMAZING! The salmon is crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked inside. The dish comes with rice and has 3 pieces of salmon, slices of cucumber, pickled radish and slivers of green onion. Each bite is delectable. The service is friendly and the restaurant has seating inside and outside.

Not many places that serves mostly ramen around the area so I decided to give this place a try. Located at the outer area of the mall, this place is easily accessible and parking is never an issue. I came here with my husband and it was around 3pm so it shouldn't be too busy. We both ordered the Yugo ramen and got the geso kara as an appetizer. My husband got one of the boba drinks but their drinks were very sweet. Idk if they offered customization on the sugar level but I didn't ask or see it on the menu. Plus side is free topping though. The ramen itself was solid. Not too salty either. It hit the spot for the ramen crave. Overall the food and experience were good. Definitely would come back when we crave ramen!

I came here to say two days ago to grab my daughter some Shrimp Yakisoba. This is one of my go to restaurants when I'm in the area. The server Mark was on point. This review is really for him. He was inviting friendly and very courteous. He had us in and out. I ordered my food to go. Thank you for the great service Mark

We went here because we wanted to have ramen before watching a movie. For a Ramen lover I was very disappointed. Nothing stood out to me with the ramen. I didn't taste the black garlic oil nor did the broth taste creamy. If you want to make it spicy then it is $3.00 extra for that little dollop of spicy paste. It made it a tad bit spicier but for those who like full on spice, you would need another dollop or two. We got seated immediately. But our table was placed right next to a storage table with straws, napkins, plates, etc. like a table to prep takeout. It kind of killed the ambiance. Our drink order was taken but we had to remind them about our drinks AFTER they served us the ramen. There are two bar areas along the walls. One is for boba and the other for ramen. It made me feel as if they weren't sure what they wanted to advertise and sell.Probably won't be going back here but if you're looking for a bite to eat before a movie, it's a decent option.

Yugo Ramen might be tucked away in the "thriving" (just kidding, it's pretty quiet) Newpark Mall, but don't let the mall's vibe fool you--this place knows how to serve up some good food!I came here for lunch with a friend, and we decided to dive into the ramen game. We both ordered the Yugo Ramen, which was solid, but let me tell you, the Karaage stole the spotlight. These things were extra chunky, loaded with meat, and somehow still had this awesome crunchy texture. Seriously, if you come here, get the karaage. Thank me later. Now, back to the ramen. It came with these thick slices of pork that were super satisfying. And the egg? A perfectly yolky egg that they didn't pre-slice, so we got to break it open ourselves. There's something oddly satisfying about splitting open that yolk and watching it ooze into the broth. Small detail, but it adds to the experience! We arrived around 1 PM, and there was plenty of seating, so we got a table right away. The tables here are huge, too--ideal if you're rolling with a big group and need room for all your food.Overall, Yugo Ramen is a hidden gem in a not-so-happening mall. The food's great, the vibe inside is cozy, and it's perfect for a low-key lunch with friends. Just don't expect much in terms of the mall surroundings--it's seen better days.Verdict: Solid ramen, epic karaage, and big tables for big parties. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and craving some good eats!

I must've frequented this ramen spot some 15-20 times over the years. Surprised I haven't left a review yet honestly. Welp, I need my ramen badge so no time like the present. ;)I like Yugo ramen. A pleasant restaurant with ever-friendly staff and good food. Gone are the days where ramen shops at a shopping mall means a lesser experience. The ramen is pretty good. I typically go with their namesake yugo ramen (black garlic). It's fine to be perfectly honest here. Nothing spectacular, but good flavor and a satisfying overall bowl of noodles. That said, what is truly great here is their chicken karaage. Large, crunchy and seasoned better than most places I've been. It's totally not a traditional karaage, but it's very delicious every single time. Another great dish here is the stir fried beef yakisoba. It has a wonderful sweet and salty flavor to it, these noodles have a nice bite to them, lots of tender beef, the veggies are plentiful (if you're into that) and the dish is sauced well. Moist in a good way. Thanks Yugo ramen!

It wasn't too busy when we went. I ordered a Tai tea boba which was flavored pretty well. I'm not a huge fan of pork so I ordered the chicken ramen. It was yummy. The chicken comes on the side. Overall it was pretty filling!

A Newark favorite of mine! The Yugo wings are fabulous--crispy and packed with flavor. Make sure to ask for extra orange sauce, it comes on the side. The okonomiyaki fries and chicken teriyaki bowl were also highlights, combining delicious toppings that made for a unique twist on classic comfort food. The service was kind and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made the experience even better. The ambiance is always friendly and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a meal with friends. Overall, Yugo Ramen is definitely a go-to!
