This is my second time visiting Yoyo's in person, though I've also tried their drinks at pop-ups and via DoorDash. The space is charming, and the setup is inviting. I ordered the chaska, which has surprisingly become my new favorite! I've had many corn-in-a-cup dishes, but this one stands out with the best flavor. The salsa macha given on the side is a little spicy but definitely delicious. The beverages are unique as well; the strawberry horchata is a standout for us.Diana, the owner, is incredibly kind. From my first visit, she was more than happy to explain her menu. I loved the marquesita, which is similar to a crepe but has a wafer-like consistency and contains cheese. I mentioned to Diana that while I enjoyed the flavor with cheese, it wasn't my preference. She gladly made me one without cheese, and it was delicious! My son ordered the fresada, which is like strawberries and cream, and he couldn't stop raving about it. I can't wait for her new location in Hayward to open because we will definitely be back more often!

I cannot believe I've missed out on this spot for 3 years and I live in this town! This place is a little difficult to spot if you've never been because of the lack of signage, but it's on the corner, inside of an apartment building on the ground floor--next to a couple of other boutique businesses. I found out about this place because of social media. A local foodie influencer made a video on this place and it's what made me decide to visit. Everything on their menu looks and sounds amazing. I came for the strawberry Nutella marquesitas, chaska, and the strawberry horchata. Holy smokes. All of these were SO YUMMY and DELICIOUS! As soon as our order came out, I couldn't wait 10 seconds to take a bite into the marquesitas. It's like a crepe, but it's NOT soft. It's crispy! Like a waffle cone, but not as dense. I found out the hard way not to eat this in the car LOL, because you absolutely will get crumbs! Eat this outside or over the sink or over a big plate. As messy as it is though, it's so worth it. The chaska... mmmmMm! It comes with seasoning, cojita cheese, a slice of lime, and they give you a side of their special made sesame chili oil sauce. A little goes a long way but SO good to compliment the corn. Oh and the strawberry horchata! GIRL. Get you some. They have such a great variety of snacks and I've tried at least 5 different things on their menu so far. Everything is consistency delicious and at such a great price!! Don't get me wrong, I love my boba tea and spicy chicken snacks, but this spot is my NEW FAVORITE place to come for a snack or a sweet treat when you have that craving. Also the owner is so nice and she's super friendly. I got to talk to her about how the business came to be and, wow! I have so much respect for her and what she's created. Come and support, and get you some delicious treats!!This is just my opinion, but I can't think of any other snack place that could top this!!

I came here expecting to get a snack and left waaaay too full. The owner is really sweet and makes everything fresh when you order it! She is only one person, at least when I went, so please be patient! Everything was loaded to the brim and tasted fresh and delicious! The agua fresca was also perfectly tangy and sweet without being overly sweet. I'm excited for her to move into her own space and visit!

If you like Mexican "botanas" and truly fantastic Mexican agua frescas and "michelada-style" sodas, Yo Yo Treats is da boooooom!! If you don't know what that is, you'll find savory and sweet treats that you really kind find anywhere always. Everything tastes so authentic but is also prepared so thoughtfully and just a step above other "botanero" restaurants. The owner is just as sparkly as the drinks she sells. I love her bubbly personality and just all the color she imbues into the space, which is vibrant and colorful.I've eaten there and ordered to go (which they now offer) and it's always good. I always order the chaska, which is what they call esquites, corn cups, in Aguascalientes. My husband always order the empapelados, which is a variety of proteins and veggies (you can choose between one or two or three of each) smothered with esquites. It is so good! The taquitos are always a hit. And our kiddo likes the marquesitas, a very unique Dutch crepe that can be sweet or savory. I recently started ordering the "cacahuataxo" which has jicama and pepino, plus tamarind and chamoy in a spicy Clamato sauce with lime. And then there's the drinks. They do some amazing aguas frescas. But what sets them apart is their prepared sodas, with chamoy, Tajin, lime, salt and other tasty treats. They have tamarind soda, Sangria soda, a Tehuacan (if you're Mexican you know what makes that special). There's several tables inside and a nice park nearby with parking if you want to sit outside to eat your treats.

I can't believe I waited so long to come here. Finally stopped by after seeing another post about them on instagram. I wanted to take my daughter because she loves corn! We got a few different things and everything was SO good! I grew up eating similar things but I never had anything like a Marquesita and the things that I've had growing up, tasted like they were made with love here! I got the marquesita with banana, dutch cheese and dulce de lecha. Such a good combination of flavors. The drinks were great too! Please check them out and show them some love as they're trying to open a new location in Hayward. Say hi to the owner and ask about the menu items because she is just the nicest and will give you some recommendations!

My fav items here are the passionfruit mango agua fresca and the empapelados with carne asada! I was not familiar with some of these snacks but owner, Diana, is so friendly and was able to teach me more about Mexican snacks! Love coming here and trying other items as well. Definitely try a marquesita!!!!

So grateful to be sharing this review...I absolutely love making time to stop by Yo-Yo's. It is located inside of a small food hall off E14th & 164th. The booth is full of vibrant colors and a lovely owner. The mango passion Agua Fresca is delightful! Her chamoy is my favorite. So amazing I don't want to order any other drink. The cup of corn w/ sub crema instead of mayonnaise is a yummy snack. And her homemade sesame salsa is deliciously unique. One of my favorite summer spots!
