My brother was married on this AMAZING property. The grounds are gorgeous and that deserves a 10 out of 10! Unfortunately, their staff is subpar. First of all, getting onto the grounds is a hassle. They have strike rules for entering the grounds. On rehearsal night we called the office number to allow us in for our 5:00 pm appointment and the man who answered said, "I'm not in charge of that" and hung up the phone. Finally, they do not have wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The bathrooms were fancier-type trailer portapotties and the first step was at least a foot off the ground. This made it difficult for senior citizens to use the facility with ease. Again the grounds are a dream. But they have some ways to go in terms of customer service and the facilities.

Beautiful area with a poorly maintained house. We were invited to a wedding and stayed in the Creek House. I mean, you totally could tell that no one cares about cleaning and preparing the house for the guests! I had to wash every single dish before I could use it. The pans were oily and there was still food stuck to them. All the glasses were dirty, and there was dust all around the house. The towels at least looked clean. The carpets were old and worn and the walls needed patches and paint. Do not walk barefoot around. My socks were black after some time walking around the house. The toilets barely flushed. Overall the water system in the entire house is very poor and has weak pressure. We had problems with the shower on the second floor. It was very difficult to adjust the temperature in the shower, the smallest turn could switch it from cold to boiling hot.I truly loved the nature around the property, but dang, they should pay more attention to cleaning the house and having it touched up. P.S. I have to tell you about the meanest swan that lives in a lake! That guy made it impossible to pedalboat or be around the lake at all. He would run/fly up to us any time we would come close to the lake. He attacked us when we were trying to pedalboat and wasn't letting us come closer to the dock. We were literally stuck in the middle of the lake screaming for help cause he wouldn't let us be. He was hissing, flapping his wings, and trying to bite us. I know this sounds funny, but it's not as fun when you are near that monster! He is black with red eyes. You'll know him when you see him. But remember, he is watching you too.

Beautiful place... my brother just got married here. However, the restrooms are not ADA compliant, and not enough restrooms. They wanted to shut down the party 30 minutes before the contracted time. The staff is rude... train your team on customer service.

-10000/10. First of all, you pay for the venue, that's all you get it. Chairs and tables are extra which I could understand but then it gets worse. There are so many hidden fees that were brought to my attention in the MIDDLE of my event! Such as we had to depose of trash ourselves?? How would anyone be able to take that many trash bags home with them? So we had to pay 500$ on the spot for them to take it for us. Tables and chairs were not set up for us, and when we got there, they just put it up and left without notice and we were told to fix it ourselves? Instead of checking the contract and having everything set up, I was suppose to know on the top of my head the count for tables and chairs that I booked monthhhssss ago and when I forgot one table Diana made it such a big deal because she had to leave and said "but you said 2 only. That means you need 4" well if you looked at the contract it said 4!! Then I get a surprise email for a fee because they put up more chairs than what we paid for ? As if it is not their job to open the contract and see what the contract says. On top of that, I was told the owners wouldn't be on the property when events are happening on weekends and during my event, I was told that music needs to be turned super low at 8pm because it was annoying the owners/neighbors? It is a 40 acre property... What neighbors?? Don't understand why the owners are on the property if they know the music gets loud like every other event? Literally such a waste of a dj if no one could hear the music or dance. We were also told our guest would be brought down in golf carts when they parked, but we weren't told it was only for the first two hours of the event and everyone else had to walk super far if they were late. Instead of enjoying my event, I was too busy on my phone asking for the gate to be open because they closed the gates and asking why someone from the property keeps telling the dj to turn the music off. The best part was when Diana cut the power in the middle of the event and made the whole venue dark and started yelling "NO POWER MEANS PARTY IS OVER" at 10pm.The cherry on top is we couldn't come back the next day to clean up and take down decorations, it has to the same night? Who would even want to do that after a long day. Cons: No fridge for the cake, no ice or place to even store your own ice, flies everywhere in the bar/food area, cut the power at 10pm even though I was told I had the venue until 11:30 and need to be out by 12am, power source was unreliable for dj and photobooth, was told they could accommodate umbrellas since the weather would be very hot but the day of the event was told they only had 9 and had no one to put it up since it last minute, and lability insurance is 1.5 million instead of the normal 1 million which is costing an extra 400$ when paying for insurance. Everything about this venue is strictly about money and no helping at all. No permits are even done at this venue so don't even book indoors. Pro: It's a nice property. That's it. BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

This review is based on management & owners @ Yin Ranch from 21-23:There's no denying that Yin Ranch is a stunning venue. I can tell an immense amount of love, history & hard work was put into this property and I am forever grateful for having my wedding in my hometown, in a beautiful venue that cherishes family above all else. That being said, as a client of Yin Ranch, I was extremely disappointed in their level of professionalism in terms of bookkeeping, honoring contracts, communication & overall treatment of their staff. My key takeaway: I wouldn't recommend this venue to anyone (weddings, reunions etc.) based on how easily important details get overlooked or outright ignored. In '21, I signed my contract w/ the property manager @ the time, Jennifer Maloney. I reserved my '23 wedding date along w/ 2 nights @ the Creek House. I was also promised early check-in during that time. @ that time, I was confident that we had picked the perfect venue & I felt like I was in good hands w/ Maloney.Early '22, Maloney reached out & updated me that the owners have hired a new property manager, Jennifer Pike. I figured Maloney & the owners separated on amicable terms, so I didn't pry too much on the decision to replace Maloney. I didn't have much interaction w/ Pike during the time she worked @ Yin Ranch, I figured there was no need for her to reach out to me for most of '22. During the few times I talked with Pike, I had questions like 'How many barrels are available for me to use @ the reception?' & she'd usually answer 'I'm not sure. I'll look into it.' Since she's new to Yin Ranch, I assumed she just needed time to scope out all the equipment Yin Ranch had, but I rarely got straight answers from her.August '23 (a month before my wedding) I received a call from Maloney announcing that she's back @ Yin Ranch, which was a sigh of relief b/c she had more experience in working @ Yin Ranch compared to Pike. According to Maloney, the reason she's back is because Pike wasn't effectively doing her job (apparently she was barely on the property) & the only reason she agreed to come back is to finish the remaining contracts she signed w/ previous brides before she was replaced. Less than a week passed & Maloney texted me that she's no longer working @ Yin Ranch: 'The owner is just way too difficult to deal with...she has fired everyone else...please make sure they give you a refund for charging you double for the Creek House.' I spoke to their bookkeeper, Donna, to walk me through the invoices on the Creek House. We sorted it out & found that they accidentally charged me 2 additional nights. I was reassured by Donna that a refund of $3,873 will be mailed after the wedding (9/22 - refund received). Given the past hiccups, I thought it would be smart to double check if they'll still honor my early check-in that I was promised in '21. Beth, who manages the lodgings, said that they could not honor my early check-in & said I'll have to check-in @ the usual time 3pm. I was a bit frustrated since I had plans for my family to be settled earlier than 3pm, but I didn't challenge it.Days before the wedding, I received an email from Beth asking if I can check-in @ 4pm. Their reasoning was 'we have a very tight cleaning turnaround on that day'. I told them I could not change my timing any further. I've already cut 3 hours from my schedule to accommodate their 3pm check-in time. I cannot cut another hour because of the venue's planning. When check-in day came, I received a short confirmation that my party can check-in at 3pm. During the weeks that led up to my wedding, Diana, the most recent property manager, was my ROCK. Even though she seemed overwhelmed in taking over the property manager role (with virtually no team to support her) @ Yin Ranch, the fact that she gave her best & did everything in her power to support me was EVERYTHING to me. She was one person doing a team's worth of work & I am so grateful for her timely responses & above-and-beyond customer service. Aside from the landscaping & location, Diana was honestly the most redeeming quality of Yin Ranch & I hope the owners recognize her priceless contribution to their business.Regardless of the difficulties I experienced as a client @ Yin Ranch (and I can see in past reviews, I am not the only one feeling disappointed with Yin Ranch), I sincerely hope others can enjoy this beautiful venue but that depends ENTIRELY on the owners. I hope they can build a team that sets each other up for success in a work environment where they don't worry about whether they'll get fired or not, where excellent customer service is part of the venue experience, and where contracts are honored without question.

Beautiful atmosphere. However, as soon as we made a deposit & signed the contract the communication lagged. Took several days to weeks for a response. The customer was no longer important. I hope the owners know this is a bad name for them. Communication is so important in planning one of the most important moments in one's lifetime. We regret choosing this venue.

This week I had my daughter's Quinceañera party at the Yin Ranch in Vacaville. The venue is gorgeous with many breathtaking spots for pictures: the vineyards, giant pines, a pond with a waterfall, willow trees, and many more. The current manager, Diana, was very helpful with planning and answering all my questions. She timely replied to my emails and phone calls which helped me feel at ease. I was able to tour the property a couple of times, take my time and not feel rushed. The day of the party, Mateo had a golf cart to help get us, and guests around which was so helpful since the property is very large. Diana checked in with me during the party to make sure everything was going well and asked if I needed anything. I cannot wait to see my daughter's professional photos and videos in this beautiful property. I highly recommend the Yin Ranch for your special day!

We stayed here with a large group for a few nights. The sites were so comfortable with A/C, washer/dryer, full kitchen, and outdoor social area. The greens were spacious for tons of activities. Would come back again!

My Family hosted a beautiful and blessed family weekend reunion retreat. It was such a treat. We rented two cottages for lodging and overnight accommodations. The accommodations throughout the weekend were great. There was plenty space, activities and time to enjoy family, nature walks, exploration and meditation,, animals, paddle boats, fishing, Double Dutch, badminton, fire pit conversation, cousin hosted paint and sip event, all access kitchens for all the cooking we desired. Shopping was not too far to gather and purchase needed food and supplies without compromising the ranch-paradise experience. Our host friend Michelle, is so niiiiice, she was a photographer, concierge, tour guide through the weekend. We enjoyed ourselves and have been on Cloud 9 ever since.

I'm giving the ranch three stars. Three stars because the beauty of this place it cannot be compared to anything that I've seen that's local. As far as the ranch itself I had a wedding there last month and leading up to the wedding was an experience that I would not wish on anyone. What I will say is that the assistance that I received from DiAnna was above and beyond through everything that had happened, she made the day memorable. It was absolutely seamless. All of the issues leading up to the day went out the door were there still bumps in the road absolutely, but with her assistance she made them non-existent. It's not always about the money. It's about the people that you have working for you. If the Yin's don't learn anything, the people they have working for them are invaluable. Thank you DiAnna for making my daughters day, one of the best days ever. It won't matter how beautiful it is if the employees and customers are not treated right it can become nothing. DIANNA YOU MADE THE DAY!!! An absolute asset!!
