Yayume Sushi

Ok - here we go- again and again- I find that the more times I go the more I like this place. It's family owned and they run the show- the waitress is really friendly and very nice- she is very helpful with the menu and is really fast. The salad was chilled - it really brought back good memories and the miso soup was perfect - they arrived really quick to the table. We ordered 3 rolls total and the first roll - tiger - was delivered soon after. The other two came together because one was baked. The lion king is super - I love it hot. The Danville is one of my favorites with the jalapeños. The tiger was on my list and I really wanted to try it. I was impressed. Everything on the vast menu has been fantastic. Everything i have tried has been a win. I like where it's located in San Ramon. Easy access and great parking. It's nice inside and has an open floor plan that allows you to see the kitchen- so that's a plus for me. We sit in about and it's comfortable and roomy for 5 . Everything about Yayume is a win. Price , service, location. Great service from a family owned restaurant is a big plus. Just say yes - you will be happy you did.

Went in for an early lunch so it was rather empty. They have lots of seats so large crowds should not be an issue. Our waiter was friendly and the menu has a lot of sushi options to choose from. I order myself a Hamachi nigiri and OMG roll. The fishes tastes good and has a clean taste to it. Will definitely try the other selections they have!

This is the best Sushi in San Ramon. Small, quiet location with amazing rolls and sashimi!! Love it!!

We love yayume! My kids are always jumping and screaming when we say we're getting sushi. Great service and pricing. Convenient location too

I have had a variety of experiences here but this last time was a solid 9.2/10. Fish was fresh and absolutely beautiful. I'll be back sooner than later.

What an awesome place! Great atmosphere, super clean, and such friendly staff! We are vegan and had no problems ordering vegan options. Yummy ramen, veggies and tofu! We will definitely be back :)

We love this place! I am new to sushi and the very nice lady talked me into sushi that is deep fried, OMG it is good! I know, it's not sushi if it is deep fried, but it's don't care, it's good! Not a fan of the texture of raw fish? Maybe some day?

Sigh.. I gave them another try. Ordered take out beef-don. Here is a photo: the steak on top is raw and uncooked. Good grief.... I could go on about the beef tasting gamey and parboiled... but if it's raw, then that means they didn't even really try. Just too rushed to bother.

We were curious and it's close by so we thought to try it out.Entirely uninspired food, dirty old menus just blah....2 stars only because the woman serving was friendly and helpful. No need to come here again.
