Short Story: A great place for small bites and appetizers!Long Story: I've been here 3 times since they opened in September 2024. I've tried their rice dogs, wings, fries, and more! The food is good (for the most part) but their rice dogs are a bit too chewy. The hot dog itself seems a bit subpar. Their wings are great with several different flavors. I've tried the kimchi and badok which was super spicy! The service is good and the portions are okay. There is a bit of a long wait and I'm hoping this gets better over time. The prices are in line with what you get.Verdict: I'll go back someday.

Was the food worth it? Yes.Was the wait? Ehh... took way too long just for one hot dog.If you're looking for something quick, you might want to try elsewhere. But it's worth checking out at least once to see for yourself! The place is clean and nice, but seating is limited when it gets busy.

My friend and I got the kimchi fries to share.I was really disappointed in the quantity and quality since it was 10 dollars. The fries were most likely frozen fries in a bag reheated and on top of the fries was a bit of kimchi seasoning, kimchi, and kimchi juice. I could have made this at home.Overall this could have been so much better.

Visited this eatery on a quiet Friday afternoon. The half and half korean rice dog (beef dog and mozzarella) with regular panko was freshly made. Stretchy melted cheese and steam coming out. Very crunchy. I'd prefer it a bit more chewy, but it was still good. It took about 10 minutes to be ready, the staff calling my number out to pick up at the counter. Other than that, zero interaction with staff since I ordered from the kiosks at the left side of Fremont Food Hall.

I'm glad that they finally serve rice dogs after being opened for weeks. This place pretty much serves rice dogs, rice plates, and appetizers compared to two adjacent places. I'm kinda shocked with how the potato rice dog was made. Based on the texture and size of the potatoes, it seems that they ordered McDonald's French fries and used them as potatoes for the rice dogs. Would be better off if they try to make potatoes as original as possible. The service is kinda slow, but I could be biased since I don't know how long they really take. But it's just a rice dog and nothing really big. Aside from that, it's really delicious though.Perhaps, I should try other items in the future when I come back.

First time in fremont food hall and we tried two of the three stalls. We loved every thing we ordered. The garlic fries were not overwhelming. The corndog was delicious with generous cheese. The chicken was yummy. Everything were freshly made. Service was good-- not fast but not slow. However this was the busiest stall and there was only one member in the front. She was very nice and professional.Place was crowded but we got to sit quickly upon arrival. Place was clean and organized.

Was looking for a quick meal with my boys and found this place. It is in a small food hall in downtown Fremont. The place is cute, clean, and only a few tables. Since it is a soft opening, they only allow card transactions. They also do not have full menus in the two stalls I went to. Here is what I ordered:Ya Baebak!Gochujang pork belly plate - really not what I expected. Honestly it was just ok. The pork belly was chopped up and tasted dry and overcooked. The amount of kimchi was like a teaspoon full, and there was an abundance of rice. The mandu was not very good either.Tteokbokki - This was good, better if there was cheeseBanana milk - this was good, there were crushed bananas in the milk and it was not too sweet. Literally...banana milkCapture coffee:Banana latte - also with crushed banana, a good twist to the coffeeUbe latte - this was ok, wish it had more of an Ube taste.Overall, I think I will have to try other things when they fully open. I am willing to give it another try.

The Fremont Food Hall was a surprise drop in during a Halloween event downtown. The spot I ordered from was Ya Daebak. The menu was fresh and easy to order food, not confusing at all. Ordered the garlic wings which came with 7 wings priced relatively reasonably. The staff explained the difference between just ordering the wings and getting wings in a rice bowl (only 4-5 wings). When the food arrived it was hot and boomin' with flavor and lots of garlic. No complaints at all! I will say, be careful with the wood utensils as I slid my hand down the knife and got a huge splinter in my finger. Would definitely come back!!

Downtown Fremont is finally starting to come together, so my friend and I were so excited to try out this place at the Food Hall! When we visited, they had a limited menu, so I ordered the garlic wings and the garlic fries. Garlic wings (7/10): It had a surprising amount of garlic seasoning on top of it. The chicken itself was pretty good and had a nice crispy exterior without being too breaded. It wasn't overly oily and definitely would be something I'd order again-- just maybe not the garlic flavor. The garlic didn't add too much to the dish. Garlic Fries (4/10): This one was a little disappointing. I think they relied on the garlic seasoning to flavor the fries, because the fries were very bland overall. I had to ask for ketchup because there was barely any seasoning on the fries. The dish had the illusion of seasoning with how much garlic was on it, but it was mostly only piled at the top and wasn't seasoned enough to make the fries good. I love trying Korean street food places, so I'll definitely be back when they have an expanded menu!
