Workstation West Berkeley

We had the pleasure of celebrating my sisters baby shower here. Absolutely beautiful venue. Very spacious with plenty counter and refrigerator space provided for any event. The ambiance was welcoming and bright. The restrooms were very clean and sanitary. The patio area was open with plenty of outdoor space and seating. In front was plenty street parking near destination. As for the owner he was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. However, the neighbor was problematic.During the middle of games, we were interrupted by the neighbor playing loud unearthly music blasting through a speaker specifically placed in their window towards our party. When asked by the owner to come to a reconciliation she refused and threatened to call patrol. Our party was still fun, but very distracted. The vibes were off, the owner tried to improvise by letting us bring music outside with a minimum volume limit but it didn't help much.

We had our wedding at Workstation West Berkeley in July 2021 and couldn't be happier with the experience! Our big wedding plans were suddenly thrown out the window due to the pandemic, and with all the uncertainty of what could actually be possible and only a couple months to spare, we decided the safest choice would be an outdoor micro-ceremony. We were SO HAPPY to find the beautiful patio garden at Workstation! It was the perfect outdoor venue with convenient bathrooms and use of the kitchen. Isaac was patient and helpful as we got our scattered ideas together, worked with us as we determined the setup, and offered use of their chairs and kitchen supplies. It was a very cozy space for our 30 guests, with enough room to mingle and eat following the ceremony.

What a beautiful and comfortable space! We rented the conference room for a 1/2 day in-person team meeting. It was perfect. The conference room is light and open feeling, while still fully enclosed (a perfect covid-bubble!). The rest of the Workstation looks pretty awesome - the outdoor garden, offices, etc. are all nicely designed and well kept. The office manager was friendly and efficient and helped us settle in quickly. And it's full of thoughtful details -- right down to the phone booths, one of which doubles as a pumping room! We'll definitely be back!

I needed a place to get some work done while my car was getting serviced this morning, so I dropped in at Workstation West Berkeley. I don't have a membership, but the price quoted for a couple hours was very reasonable. The host was friendly and wore a mask. There is plenty of space, the wifi worked well, and I was comfortable. Phone rooms are private and big enough for a video call. Usually, my home office is all I need - but if I find myself in Berkeley needing a place to quietly get stuff done or have a meeting, I will definitely come back to Workstation.

I can't say enough positive great things about Workstation West Berkeley and our experiences there. Its a totally beautiful space, physically, wonderful for meetings, as well as parties, and super user-friendly. The staff is incredibly kind and goes the second mile to be helpful. The owners are super engaged in community work to create justice and are tremendously generous and caring people.

This place saved me one day during a power outage. Just a daily rental. It wasn't terribly crowded. The space was comfortable enough and the people in there were pretty friendly although one talked more than I wanted (I had welcomed that but it went far).
