Have been here a handful of times now and have had a great time every visit. Great locations with fresh beer and wine, cozy environment with rotating art on display, delicious Detroit style pizza on site from Joyride, chill playlists, nice breezy plant covered patio and sometimes live jazz inside.Ive tried a few of their wines and a couple of their brews. Ive enjoyed all of them. The pizza is also pretty solid! You order at the bar and they give you your drinks directly from there and bring food out to you. I also saw they have a bottle shop too if you just want to get some beer/wine to go. Ive brought friends from out of town here as well snd they also enjoyed it. Check it out.

Super popping on a Thursday night, so our group of four greedily eyed the tables until one became free, after which the server quickly cleared it for us. I'll be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of Detroit pizza, so maybe my review is a little skewed. My friend is vegan, so we opted for the vegan pizza, and I really did not like the vegan cheese. Is there an option that just uses tomato sauce? If I wasn't eating the vegan pizza, I'd still feel like the menu was pretty expansive and a little bit overwhelming with close to 20 options. Servers are chatty...amongst themselves. I felt like I was interrupting their conversation when I would go up to order. All in all, not sure I would come back.

I've been here around 3x now and absolutely love the interior design of the place; it feels like a little home with an elevated cozy area as well as a dining room table esque area as well as a backyard patio area.I ended up getting the cider and the honey beer last night and loved both! The service is also quite fast.

I came here after a happy hour event nearby, and let me just say this place hit the spot. I've been to Joyride in SoMa, but Woods raised the bar. I love how large the venue is and how they have a large selection of pizzas, wings, drinks, and desserts, so there's guaranteed to be something for everyone. Perfect spot to hit up for a night out!

Great ambiance, food, service, it's such a great neighborhood spot. I've been to a few other Woods locations and this is definitely my favorite. It's good for catch ups, first dates, 50th dates, bringing out of towners. Having Joyride Pizza is incredible, since some other locations just have empanadas which makes it feel like a spot for snacking, but this location feels like a real place you can sit and drink and hang out for an extended, relaxed meal. The patio outside is lovely, the indoor decor vibe is impeccable with rotating art and plants, and the drinks are great. 10/10 no notes.

Really nice spot for dinner/drinks. They have a joyride kitchen on-site so the pizzas are freshly made to order and are delicious! For anyone who likes Detroit style pizza its a must try. I particularly like the sweet heat one with pineapples and jalapenos. The pizzas are pretty expensive - $27 for most of them and they're not too big, but they are filling and really yummy. One pizza should be enough for 1-2 people. Their drink menu has beer and natural wine (wine with no additives) with most wines around $15 per glass. There's tons of seating indoors, with tables for 2 and booths for larger groups of up to 6. The inside is dimly lit and makes for a nice intimate atmosphere. There's also an outdoor patio with 4-5 benches that can seat large groups. Service is all at the counter - you order there and the pizzas are brought over to your table. Will definitely be back!

The Woods Lowside has such a great vibe! I love coming here for some fresh beer and amazing pizza. The Woods has a nice outside patio in the back, which is amazing when it is sunny out, and a parklet in the front with heaters. In addition, there are big booths and seats at the bar inside. The Woods had beer and wine. I'm a beer drinker and love the rotating options. This time, I had Local Honey, which is a cult favorite. I have never had their wine, but I hear it is good. The Woods also serves Joyride Pizza. Joyride Pizza is Detroit-style, and the crust is thick, soft, and perfectly doughy with crispy cheese on the edges. My favorite is the Buffalo Chicken. It has Buffalo sauce, mozzarella, chicken, green onions, and blue cheese. It is soooo good. Joyride also offers gluten-free, and its just as good as the regular pizza. Nothing is better than pizza and a pint!

I walked by and wanted to see this drinking hole and restaurant. They serve Joyride pizza and I got two pieces for $12 because I couldn't think of something else to eat while working for 8 hours on the block. I liked my meal and didn't consider drinking here because I don't drink on the job. I asked her about the candles and how they don't cause harm because I don't know how candles work to this day.

Woods has several locations throughout the city, each location is unique, but all are clean, modern, and serviced by a friendly welcoming staff and a beer bar serving a good variety of beers and ciders. Not a restaurant by any means, but a beer bar that has a nice food offering. Woods Lowside is spacious and serves up some tasty Detroit Style pizza, albeit it is a bit pricy for $15 for a half(2 pieces) or $27 for a whole. We had the Meatzza because we were drunk and needed that extra fatty deliciousness.
