I love this little market. It has everything you would expect at a convenience store plus a lot more, including produce. I typically stop here for snacks, wine, or just for something I forgot to grab at the supermarket. One of the things I like best about this place is the extensive wine and beer selection as well as the fact that every single wine bottle has a price sticker on the top of it so I'm never wondering.

They were playing classical music when I walked in...A hard YES from me already. Way more variety/options than your typical corner store and the guy at the register was friendly too!

Pouring down rain, but I had to get my pup, Maybelline cookies or it was going to be a long night of begging. Yes, she's spoiled. I was actually off to Safeway on Redwood Road, but knew lot parking was going to be a problem. I've seen the store near Round Table. Here there's plenty of street parking so I stopped. Expired box of biscuits and $2.50 for a Hagen Das ice cream bar had me do an about face. Onward to Safeway.

First, let's state the obvious. It's a mini-mart so prices will be more expensive than your bigger stores. You're paying for convenience. At times if I need a few things, I'd rather support the local market than the corporates. Plus, I don't have to deal with parking, I use less gas, and I don't have to deal with solicitors...or those cookie slangin' Girl Scouts. This market has the best selection of craft beer around. It can't be beat. They've upped their gourmet game as far as snacks, and have a decent stock of good wine. The staff here is good now, as well as the service. This market has been around for a long time, has changed for the better, and these guys like to hear feedback, so if you have something to whine about, let them know. I for one don't mind paying a few more bucks for convenience and some higher quality goods. Plus..I'm supporting my local small business. I just wish they'd do something about the ghetto book store/ex-gas station next to the burger joint.

This market has drastically improved over the last 2 years. Seems to have changed ownership and they carry a lot of organic products now. Their beverage selection is great, now offering kombucha (even the hard ones!), great wine selection, fresh ACME bread, and they even carry nice firewood and other winter comforts. Definitely recommend supporting our local market.

Have been passing this market on the corner for years and this week I decided to pop in on my way home for butter. $5.99 for butter, not butter made of gold, just unsalted butter. People there is a reason there are no prices posted, because if they were you would run out the door screaming. Just to add insult to injury if you want to pay with anything other than cash there is a 50 cent service fee. The guy behind the counter didn't make me feel any better about the experience either. Never again.

Under new ownership this market has improved over the past year. This is a local market you want to support if you live in the area. It's good for small items. The owner Raj recently has invested money into improving the market & is a nice guy. There is a great beer selection, wine, Acme Bread, Ice Creams, some fresh produce, flowers, candy, Ice, can foods, ect

Most items are ridiculously overpriced compared to other nearby gas stations, corner stores or small markets. I've made the mistake of purchasing produce from here, along with other items you'd think would be cheaper. They price gouge people which is unfortunate. One time asked if my kid could use the bathroom as he was doing the pee-pee dance and verbally expressing he's about to pee his pants and the cashier straight denied him. BIG mistake...plus, waaaaay overpriced. I love how they don't provide price tags on goods or an itemized receipt so you don't know what the heck cost you so much $$$. $5.99 for Simply Lemonade, no thank you! Sometimes it's better to drive that extra 1.2 miles away for the cost saving, better customer service and attitude.

Terrible service and the cashier tried to scam me! I shop at this market consistently and there always seems to be a problem with one of the cashiers there. He is tall and was working today. He tried to double charge me! This isn't the first time that he has done this before and he will never give me my receipts either. He always tries to throw them away and I have to keep telling him that I want my receipts. It wouldn't be such a big deal if he hadn't done this before on multiple occasions, while also consistently given attitude towards me for no apparent reason! Especially after I ask for my receipts. Watch out when you go there and when you run into him. Make sure they don't do the same to you. Whoever that weirdo is should be ashamed!
