Wine Time - Houston Family Vineyards

My friend and I stopped by last friday 1/17 and Paul is the sweetest guy ever. We did the 10 wine samples but he even threw in an extra sample and his Dessert Wine which was so delicious (maybe because i'm not a big wine person and love sweet drinks). He taught us so much about wine and the ones he grows nearby in Fairfield area of Hayward. He encourages you to bring your own snacks if you want but provides delicious cheese and crackers! I brought some bread from the nearby italian restaurant Acqua E Farina to snack on so I wouldn't get too tipsy off his large pours!! Please stop by whenever you can Paul is the best. Edit: I forgot to mention we stopped by at 7 and since we did the longer wine tasting we didn't finish until 8:30 and he stayed open late for us!

The spot is very unassuming from the outside, but such a gem!! Paul, the humble owner and farmer, led us through various red (Pinot Noir / Merlot / Cabernet Sauvignon) and white wines (Chardonnay from various years). We came in around 7:30pm but Paul accommodated us and was so patient with our numerous questions about their local winemaking.We had the 10 wine flight and they were so delicious. We took home 8 bottles by the end of the night. He offered us some cheese and crackers to pair with the wines as well! We had such a great time and will be sure to come back to this awesome spot!!

Such a cute little hidden gem! The owner is so helpful & kind. The pours are absolutely perfect, and the interior is warm and welcoming. Definitely a spot to go to before or after lunch/dinner downtown or just with some girlfriends or family! Check it out.

SUCHHH a cute little wine spot downtown. All the wine was absolutely delicious. The owner was so sweet and knowledgeable about the wine. I loved the cheese and crackers too! Reasonably priced too for how amazing the wine is. Can't wait to come back!!

It was so nice to see this little tasting room in downtown hayward! The space is small but is very clean, bright, and casual. There were some cool art pieces on the walls too. We went in as a group of 4 and sat comfortably at the bar. Paul was such a nice guy, and he grows his grapes in the Hayward Hills. He was very attentive and taught us about the various wines. We tasted red and whites for an affordable price. Paul also served us cheese and crackers.

Nice little gem in Hayward, owner was very friendly and in the business for 30+ years, nice to visit a local tasting room from grapes just up in the hayward hills! Reasonably priced and I got a free bottle with a purchase of a full priced bottle.

We recently visited Wine Time - Houston Family Vineyards and had a very enjoyable time. The tasting room is modern and comfortable. There are wine barrels in the shop where the wine is being aged.Paul, the owner, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and the wine industry. The wine tasting cost is reasonable, and the wines are excellent and also reasonably priced.The grapes are locally grown and produced. We bought several bottles of wine and will definitely be returning. If you are ever near the downtown Hayward area, I recommend stopping by!

Best wine tasting in the east bay. Affordable and super fun. Very unique wines from the Hayward region. Paul really knows his stuff. You can feel the passion in this experience.

If you are in the East Bay and looking for something to do, I highly recommend stopping by the "Wine Time" wine tasting bar in Hayward. The owner is very knowledgeable of the wine industry and makes the wine tasting a fun experience. I also love the beautiful artwork. There are restaurants and shops nearby for your enjoyment.
