My salad was old and the chicken tasted bad and too expensive for old food. I ordered the chicken with Israel couscous and i think the salad is being seating there for too long.

This location is extremely convenient for the people who work in this 16-floor office tower and in the nearby towers. The food is okay and the price reflects the convenience factor. The menu has a lot of this and that: falafels, salad bowls, burritos, burgers, and more. They could probably look at their sales and costs and cut down the menu by 25% in order to focus their strengths. The lentil soup is good and feels nourishing when you are almost under the weather. I order the falafel about once a month and always regret it because it is too much food, messy, and the lavash is often cold. But I keep getting it because the taste is good, and you can order it with harissa. This is a fine place to have at the bottom of an office tower. There is room for improvement, but it meets the needs of convenience for nearby office workers.

Stopped by here to switch up my work lunch. Specialty's tends to dominate my choices when it comes to picking a place to eat for lunch, so I decided to stop by here to try it out. It's located within the 2000 Powell building, so it's a little hard to find if you don't know where to look. Overall, I would say this place is a solid choice. It's not the best, but not that worst. Definitely deserves a higher rating than its current average. I would say this place should fall around 3.5/5. They have relatively quick service and ample seating if you choose to eat here. Their menu had quite the wide range, from salmon burgers to Mediterranean options like falafel and gyros. Pricing is fair overall, most items fall under $10, making it pretty affordable!I chose the shawarma with chicken on pita bread. It came out to be a little under $9. It was pretty tasty! I really like the pita bread, and overall the shawarma wrap had a decent balance of flavors. Not the best shawarma but not the worst I've had. A lil bit too saucy for my taste but that didn't keep me from finishing it!I would recommend trying it at least once if you're tired of getting that slightly pricey Specialty's sandwich and if you work in the area.

Came here first time and I was surprised that they have a lot of selection from burritos, tacos, plates, burgers, Mediterranean and breakfast choices.I got the Baja plate wit Al Pastor and looks and tastes good. A little bit pricey for $12 but in line with prices in the area. Will come back for other stuff.

The high prices are due to convenience, not the quality of food.Low spice/low flavor on everything. Watch the person making your food like a hawk, because nobody there has any idea how to make any of the menu items. They'll use the wrong bread, the wrong cheese, the wrong meat, the wrong beans. They'll add sauces/items you don't want that aren't included on the menu, but won't include items that are listed.Disappointing every single time, but such is the price of convenience.

Rude customer service, hair in my salad, not a pleasant experience overall. Very unfortunate as many people working in the Towers would love a decent lunch spot.

Why Cook serves food that is not fresh. The owner is rude and has some sort of issue. I don't know if it's with women or Black women, but his ass is rude and disrespectful. The only thing I've had of the 3 times I've gone there that is decent is their burger because how can you honestly mess up a burger? I tried the gyro and I don't know what kind of meat it was, but it was not lamb or beef. It was soft and mushy and quite horrible. Today, because I'm a glutton for punishment, I tried their special-billed as a shrimp burrito with 'fresh' avocado, corn, beans, rice and of course shrimp. I asked for no rice and black beans. The person making my order read the order and placed rice on the tortilla. I looked at her and she looked at the ticket and then she started another tortilla. She started placing the beans in the tortilla and kept adding them until I said "stop with the beans already", she added the shrimp and they looked good, then she added maybe half a teaspoon of cheese, 1 teaspoon of sour cream, 1 teaspoon of corn and then asked if I wanted hot salsa and I said hot, then she added guacamole. I said what about the fresh avocado and she said, "oh it's fresh avocado or guacamole". I said "well why didn't you ask me if I wanted guacamole or fresh avocado?". She looked at me like she didn't understand but she did.The previous person got the same thing and he got fresh avocado. He wasn't even asked. In that moment, I knew I would never step foot in this establishment again. I took the burrito, got back to my office and it was nasty. The shrimp were overcooked and tough, the salsa was good, there were just too many beans and not enough of anything else to make this worth $10.95 before taxes. Thanks Why Cook? for answering the question, Why Cook? because you can't!!!I am so done.

This place has sooo much potential especially when its the most convenient spot to eat for this building of 15-16 floors! I ate here twice. I recommend NOT to order the shrimp tacos (the shrimp is NOT grilled fresh they tasted soggy). The veggie hummus wrap as extra spicy with the wrap pita bread was great. So I cant grade this place as terrible because I want this place to get better! TO THE MANAGER: improve to cook fresh food and try to beat specialtys café across the street!Your employees seem happy but lets get customers happier too! All in all, I would only come back for the wraps! :)

Not sure if the management is changing but the breakfast burrito I had here this morning was the worst I've ever had. Only a few drops of bacon, no pico salsa, minimal cheese. No flavor. My coworkers all ordered the same and had similar reviews this morning: underwhelming for sure. If you want an egg and potato burrito that tastes like egg and undercooked potato, this is the place.
