Went there as they were about to close 1:30-ish! Walked around and found some amazing vendors with great quality products. These are also some unique products that I haven't seen at other farmers markets in the area. Definitely a must visit if you live in the East Bay. Close to West Oakland BART and also if you drive there's plenty of street parking. Everyone was extremely nice plus had amazing customer service. There are food options, live music, and a fried chicken restaurant at the end of the street!

West Oakland Farmers Market opened recently in June. located across from Kowbird. parking is easy. noticed 2 fire engine trucks parked nearby with firefighters getting some eats. hours are sundays 10 to 2 except for holidays (turkey day, xmas?)due to the season, few veggie vendors present.otherwise 2 dozen+ vendors:2 dog treats vendors, 2 fresh meat vendors, fresh oysters, covfefe, kombucha, fresh juice. massage therapist, smashburger, sourdough bakery, starter bakery, hummus & tahnini, smoothies & , dumplings and much more. some artisans here too as well as forage kitchen/edible communities.didn't see the cuban food truck though.....4.5 stars definite repeat. has more food vendors here than at Alameda or Old Oakland farmers market. diversity of vendors that reps Oaktown and beyond....FYI. West Oakland is a food dessert and a ghetto. This farmers market is at the edge. Parts of it are being "gentrified". Changes taken may not be in the interest of current residents who may find their domicile unaffordable at any time.

Tons of produce and prepared food stands. Great variety and certain stalls you can't find at other farmers markets in the area. Delicious. Live music and an eating area. Dogs on leashes are welcome. They even do a Halloween dog costume contest every year.If you are in the mood for dessert, Reuschelle's Cheesecakes are the best traditional (non basque style) in the Bay. They sell 1-2 person or full sized cakes. They have seasonal flavors, but my favs are the Ube, Bananas Foster, and Maple Peach Bourbon.

Newest farmers market on the block (literally) and becoming the best! I love the vibe of this place and the unique vendors, who are growing by the week. Some of the best fruits and veggies and I love the food trucks and food options. I can get everything here, from poultry to seafood, fruits and veggies, breads, and tons of dessert options. They even have homemade dog treats! It's really nice to have this in West Oakland, making fresh food options available to all.

It's great to have this Sunday market and I've especially enjoyed the meals I've eaten there. I'm wondering if anyone else has been overcharged by Chong Farms, as I have both times I shopped there. It felt like it based on my hand-approximated weights when checking out, but I just raised an eyebrow at the stated price and paid it. This time, when I got home I weighed my okra and cucumbers and I was charged at least $5 over.
