Definitely worth the drive and cook unique iconic location . Recommend going on a Friday or Saturday night and order the prime rib dinner. Note they are cash only but they have an ATM onsite.Be sure to stop by the whimsical gift shop while you're there. You won't find any other place like this place

This place is like a complete throwback in time. It's a movie set. The food is decent and reasonable and the whole look of the place is unlike anything you've ever seen. They have the most extensive beer menu I've ever seen and the drinks are all double. They ONLY take cash but there's an ATM machine in the place in case you forget. It's definitely a total biker/locals thing and the staff is nice. But they ONLY take cash! There's live music on Sunday. Parking is rough when it's busy and the dirt, chip sealed parking area is full of potholes and puddles when it rains. But that suits the ambiance of Port Costa. Everyone should visit this place, if only to see something totally different and unexpected. Bring cash. They ONLY take cash! And the views out on the water are spectacular... Port Costa should be the swankiest place in the Bay Area. But it absolutely is not.

Great staff, great cocktails, and serene outdoor setting near the water! Always a great group of people to hang out with and great music on the weekends! Always makes for a wonderful motorcycle ride!!

One of my go to bars!Went there during my time as a cadet at the maritime academy and even was there after graduation. Got to put my pin and name tag on a GB life preserver. Classic dive bar ambiance, the service is fast and the drinks are strong. And talk about a beer list! 100 or so beers in bottles to choose from. Wish they had more on tap but I can't complain about the selections. Wish more people know about it so it felt more lively. thinking about going? DO IT! Just don't forget to bring cash but if you do they do have ATM's

Great service and ambience , had a jukebox, you can play your favorite songs but took awhile till we heard our songs .. bartender was nice

A great place to hang out are we something or someone interesting to see?. Fantastic selection of beers Eclectic oddities throughout are interesting and fun to look at. If you haven't been give them a try, you will be glad you did .

Great funky little gem in the North bay! This is a bar you definitely should check out in this tiny town. There's a lot of history here and so much interesting decor to check out. Service was great, not too busy. Prefect for a stop along a road trip or if you're staying in the area.

Cool joint in the cuts. Mellow. Someone is always playing good music. I diggs it. Have to their food. Must come back.

We were just here today because a friend of mine recommended to come here, I was with my husband and we never been here before, we walked in because it was open, looked around for about 10 minutes, then a women walked out and said there not open yet.... And it's a liability for us to be in here while closed and that they'd be open in 10 minutes, so we came back and the owner was outside she seemed sweet, however when we again went in we did. Not feel welcomed. The same woman inside and another worker did not acknowledge us!

Went on New Year's Eve to see Mitch Polzak. Great band. Bar/club funky in a good way. Service staff very friendly. Prices very reasonable. Large variety of good microbrews.
