Date: 6/17/2023 Time: 3:05 PM 66° SunnyAfter the Japanese Bazaar, I decided to take a stroll through Oakland Chinatown to catch the bus to Alameda.I walked right by this market and what do I see? Cherries at a reasonable price. Hey, I couldn't pass it up at $1.28 lb. Wowee! Total cost: $2.79.My visit was a quick one, in and out of there in less than five minutes. I was in a hurry to get to the bus stop around the corner. Another visit would help me to do an updated review.

One of my favorite places to get meat in Chinatown! The meat is fresh and the owners are friendly and will always help you find what you're looking for. The veggies are also fresh and prices are good.

Rambutan!! I shopped around Chinatown and this was the freshest and for best price of $1.78, there were others for $.99 but definitely not as fresh.

Wah Hang no. 2 is just a street away from the lst location. like the other chinese groceries, the produce is stacked onto the sidewalk, contributing to a bottleneck. for people walking by.all the ladies were huddled around the grapes (.88/ib), just grabbed a bunch. inside they sell fresh pork, frozen seafood, and a small amount of chinese condiments.

Wah Hing Market is located in Oakland Chinatown. This is there second location, when I took the pic today, it has a grand opening sign. So, not sure when they opened and all.This is your typical Chinese grocery store with the basic grocery outside and inside. The outside of the store is filled with various different vegetables all ready to be purchased at a reasonable price point.Inside they sell various different meat, seafood, and a few other Chinese stuff that they carry.Customer Service is good, the lady was helpful in picking out the veggies for us. Very nice lady.3 stars.

This place has nice chinese groceries for pretty good listed prices, but unfortunately, if you get the guy, he marks up everything 50 cents or more per pound. For a couple dollars they stole from me, I will never shop there again and I hope others won't be cheated by them.
