Didn't know what to do for my birthday, and came across this beer bike tour. I don't drink, but I figured it would be fun and my friends can do the drinking. It was very easy to book online on their website. We were a group of 12. It was $27.5 for each of us. If you have 14 people you would get a deal for $25 a person, and the whole bike would be yours. Our "driver," Travis was real nice and laid back. We didn't go too far, but it was more for the experience. It lasts about 2-2.5 hours. We biked to 3 different breweries, and hung out at each for about 30 mins. It was fun! I would definitely do it again!

My friend booked this tour for her birthday outing, and we all had a great time! We had 11 people on one vehicle. The only downside is that the two seats above the back wheels don't have pedals, so only 10 people can bike at a time (5 people on each side). This may not be a bad thing if you get tired and want to take turns pedaling. It was $27.50 a person, and every individual is required to sign a waiver. The vehicle has shelves inside where you can store your belongings and there are cup holders on the table for you to place your water or phone. There are seatbelts for each chair, but none of us really used them (oops). They also have an aux cord, so you can play your music while pedaling! We met our tour guide at Independent Brewing Company. He was very friendly and considerate that we were a little late. Before we got started, he asked what type of drinks we were interested in. He took us Seawolf first, then Slainte and we finished at Heinold's First and Last Chance Saloon. All were great choices although Slainte was my favorite. Neat Irish tavern with people playing live music inside. Heinold's was a little small and claustrophobic, but they are known for their beer. When we returned to our vehicle after the second bar, our tour guide came in clutch and stocked our cup holders with pretzels and water. Please don't forget to tip your tour guides! The tour was about 2 hours long. No, drinks are not included in the fee. But this was a fun way to get around the neighborhood, drink, laugh, dance, sing, and overall just be together with friends. Highly recommend!

FANTASTIC! Best way to spend my birthday. Our guide, hector, was awesome and tailored the tour to what we wanted. It was such a great afternoon and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you want a fun afternoon with your friends combined with a lot of drinks, this is absolutely the experience for you!! So much fun,a bit of a work out, and all-around a good time.

Had an amazing time going Bar to bar on the velocipede with 14 of my friends. We decided to do two breweries and two bars in a three hour tour. The time went by so fast because we were having the time of our life. Favorite part is rolling into a new bar and watching everyone taking pictures to capture the moment. The tour guide was very accommodating and professional. Will definitely do again.

This review is long overdue, but I wanted to make sure I got the word out! I did this tour with a group of friends and it was a really fun and unique way to get around Oakland and try several bars that I had never been too. The environment was really laid back and it was exciting watching passerby's reactions to us as we pedaled past. I found the website easy to navigate and our tour guide Josh (who is also an owner) nice to work with and very knowledgeable on local spots and beer. I will definitely be doing this again, thanks Velocipede Tours!

The perfect thing to do on a weekend afternoon in Downtown Oakland. See the city from a different perspective and stop to drink beers along the way. What could be better? The tour takes you to some real hidden gems of the Oakland beer scene. It's a lot of fun to do with a group, or go as individuals and make some new buddies. It's very well run, very safe, and a lot of fun.

We had a very good time. There were a couple of empty seats from a larger party's booking so we joined them at the last minute. Glad we did. All got along great, plenty of choices on where to to stop, and even a bit of exercise to balance with the beer tastings. Will need to bring my work group next time for an off-hours social outing.I recommend.

Besides the best way to move around anywhere being with a dozen of your friends, Josh was outstanding helping us with our special event. Way outside the box thinking and needing extra effort from Velocipede team...he delivered big time! We appreciated EVERYTHING! Highly recommend!
