Go early to beat the lines!

Location is in 1 Kaiser Plaza right next to the Ordway Building. They open at 10am. On Wednesdays, go here early around 1030a, head to the Filipino Mediterranean food tent, normally the last one at the end of the market with the line) and get the chicken shawarma wrap- yes on the hot sauce- and enjoy it at a nearby table. Other options are the shawarma salad or rice plate, Filipino food (chicken adobo, pancit, lumpia, and Turon.) Once noon hits, the lines are pretty long!Afterwards, purchase some fresh sweet strawberries, peaches, veggies, pastries or whatever tickles your fancy. There is also a shrimp and fish taco tent, Indian food, bolanis and dips, sometimes nuts. I love going here on Wednesdays!

Wonderful small farmer's market! Some current stalls include Feel Good Bakery, Crepe A Moi, produce, flowers, and organic strawberries.I come here every week! My favorite stall is the bakery (go figure)!. The seeded cheese sticks are divine ($2), as are the pumpkin chocolate muffins and rosemary scones. They also sell a variety of artisan breads.Crepes, a close second. The man who makes the crepes obviously considers it an art and they are delish. Sweet and savory available. The savory are made with buckwheat flower. Flowers are reasonably priced at $6 or $10 a bunch. There's a stall that sells nuts and dried fruit for a good work/desk snack. The organic strawberries are $4 a container (pint?) Or 3 for $10. They also have raspberries. You can tadte before you buy and they are genuinely delicious. There's a tamale stand 2 for $5. I will vouch for their tastiness too.10am to 2pm, Wednesdays. Seasonally. Stop by if you are in the area, it's a nice way to spend some time and support local merchants!* Edit 9/5/2017- this year I highly recommend the pluots, they are divine! The market has expanded with a pasta sauce stall, Filipino food, Mexican food, dumplings (Momo's), granola, strawberries, produce, coffee cart, Indian food, baked goods and crepes! The Indian food stall is cash only.

This market happens after 11am on Wednesday. This is a great location right by the Lake. I like to enjoy the fruits of my labor with a side of granola or tiki chicken masala. The vendors give samples and are extra helpful. The tamales are also worth trying.

Since this market is on Wednesdays, I call of the "Hump Day Market." This is a small farmers market on Wednesdays near Kaiser Center and Christ the Light Cathedral. There's a handful of produce sellers and a handful of food vendors. It's a great little market for the all the uptown office people to take a little break on hump day.

Only gotten stone fruits from this small market. They are organic, fresh, plump and sweet! They accept cash, but will also take credit card if you are buying a lot. There's also other vendors too; bread/pastry, granola, a crepe stand, cheese, and strawberries.
