Trepalle Di Gelato

Was looking for some ice cream and found this spot on yelp. The gelato ice cream was delicious but really not a spot to go hang out.

Best tortellini in the Bay Area. The door dash service is incredible. Can't wait to go back in person.

The creamiest, the tastiest! Just gelato me with that good ol' Trepalle, Boo! Mm, mm, mmm! What can you say when you walk in here and folks are speaking Italian and welcoming you with tasty samples of homemade gelato?! Oh, it's legit! And, you can't tell me it's not because honestly, I can taste it. I kind of felt my face go numb after I had my first sample. Gelato just can't be this good... it just can't! The last time that I had a foodgasm from gelato was a couple years back when I had it in St. Augustine. Now that there's one so close to home, I feel like I might start having seizures from eating it. Have I ever had gelato this creamy? I honestly can't even think right now. My brain is too busy replaying the love affair that I had with their banana coconut and Trepalle di panna earlier today. The flavors, oh the flavors! So many good ones and such a nice variety on deck. They usually have about 10 different flavors available and they rotate a few of them out about once to twice per week. The texture is unbelievable. It's like someone has been churning this creaminess all day and night long. That might be quite possible given the fact that this gelato is produced by a father and son team and made from scratch. Yep, it takes two to create this delicious phenomenon and only one Shayla to eat and enjoy the hell out of it.$4 will get you a hefty scoop of some of the most delicious gelato that you may very well have ever had in your life. I wish I could suggest a few delicious flavors to try, but practically every flavor here is amazing. Plus, they rotate them quite often, so there are always new flavors to try. It's like Christmas but these gifts of flavors are here all year around! Trepalle, I'm looking forward to your permanent stay!

A little icy for my taste. Gelato is supposed to be creamy and compressed.

Locally made honest gelato!! Opened on 1/1/2018 in a cozy setting on College Ave. Pastas are amazing! It's a complete Italian experience.

Hours on Yelp and the business state they close at 9:30. We arrived just a couple minutes past 9 and found them closing and not willing to serve us.

We were looking for lemon gelato like the kind we used to get in Italy and made several stops throughout Berkley. Each place had icy unpleasantly tart offerings. On our 4th stop we tried Trepalle and finally found the spot. The gelato here is authentic, creamy, and delicious. The lemon was just like the gelato we used to get in Italy and the other fruit flavors were fantastic especially the passion fruit.

Rich, creamy and balanced flavors. Tried chocolate (amazing), Gianduja (hazelnut chocolate) and pistachio. I highly recommend the gelato which is the best I had in the Bay Area.

Holy cow! This is the best gelato I've ever eaten. The pistachio was my favorite, but I sampled most of them and they were all fantastic. It's also great that they offer dairy free options too. I'll definitely be back!
