Got the tie yin guan milk tea, 50%, with boba! It was excellent! I would strongly suggest 50% over the 100% because they practically taste the same. :) Quick service 5-10 min, very loud, good vibes!

Cute Shop, Mid Thai TeaMy friend and I stopped by after seeing how packed this place was--we figured it had to be good. Unfortunately, the Thai tea was a letdown.Thai Tea (6/10): The color was gorgeous, which is why we both ordered it, but the taste? Just felt like one of those canned Thai teas from the Asian store--either not fresh or just not well-made. As a Thai tea lover, trust me on this one.Boba Texture: Overcooked, no chew, no bounce. If you like your boba al dente, this isn't it.Vibes & Service: The shop itself is really nice inside, and they have a cool system that tells you how long your order will take (which was great because we waited over 20 minutes).Final Thoughts: Maybe their other drinks are better since the place was packed, but if you're craving Thai tea, I'd say look elsewhere. There are other boba spots in the area, so definitely shop around!

Without a doubt, TP tea is one of the best Boba spots in the bay area! Every time I get the chance to have TP tea, my day is made. I've been to multiple locations, and each of them have been consistent in terms of taste, service, and quality. When you walk in, there's always a strong tea and brown sugar aroma that fills the room. Everyone that I brought here has always commented how good this place smells and that should tell you something LOL.Their tea is strong and I love that their drinks aren't too milky. I always get the tie guan yin milk tea with 80% sweetness with their boba and QQ noodles - you must try this if you like chewy textures! This time around, I tried their Taro drink with oat milk at 50% and with Boba, and it was the perfect amount of sweetness and texture. Next time you're in the area, please give this a try. I absolutely recommend it to any boba lover!

Came here Sunday night and the guy in the front was so nice and helpful. I didnt like my first drink and he was so patient with me. He remade our drinks and let us keep the old ones. Thanks for being so patient with me and my friends!

I wanted to grab a tea drink before getting back on the road, came to visit this boba shop. I end up getting a taro drink with oatmeal milk, it was a delicious drink, it did not disappoint. I would come back! I asked for less ice and 30% sugar, it was just the way I like it. . The taro was super fresh! Yummy! There are a few tables inside the store. It is decorated with Christmas theme in this month of December. Cute little store. We didn't wait too long in getting our drinks either. Overall, I had a good experience.

I've been to TP Tea before (just not this location) and decided to walk in to order my favorite milk tea with coffee jelly, boba, and qq noodles. This combination is unmatched

I love trying out their seasonal drinks, keeps this place fresh! This month, their event is the Osmanthus Blossom series so I had to try it! I got the Four Season Osmanthus Fresh Milk Tea with 50% sweetness and boba, it was the perfect sweetness and so refreshing! Also ordered the Jasmine green milk tea with pudding which was also tasty, but the Osmanthus definitely outshined it with it's strong, bold flavors!

4 self serve kiosks inside and ample seating.Fun vibes, they play kpop and top 50 music. Can't say much about service due to the self serve kiosks, but employees were quick to fix my sister's drink when it arrived without boba.Got the winter melon guan yin oolong tea with QQ noodles. No option to adjust sweetness unfortunately and just wasn't a fan of QQ noodles.Came back a few days later and got the mango passion smoothie with boba and lychee jelly. Yummmm but will get lower sweetness and no milk next time. Thankfully there WAS an option to lower sweetness!

You order yourself at the kiosk and it definitely can get pretty hot here. There's seating and you can see when your number is getting called on the screen. Usually door is propped open with a fan. I come here when I come to Berkeley because the tea tastes authentic and not like powder. Sometimes wait is long but generally good service.

With so many boba spots in Berkeley, TP Tea is amongst one of the more popular ones. The shop has been around for a while but it was the first time my cousin and I went.Inside the shop is on the smaller end. There are several tables for two scattered and depending on the time of day it could be full or empty. Ordering is done via kiosk or online and drinks come out relatively fast. Most customers take their drinks to go like we did. Service interaction is pretty nonexistent as the workers just make the drinks. The boba shop has a pretty expansive menu of teas and fruit teas plus snacks. My cousin enjoyed her drink and I got a Mango Latte with Oat Milk. There was a fixed sweetness and ice level and the drink was super duper sweet. It tasted like mango purée and juice with a splash of oat milk and even mixing it didn't dilute the sweetness level. There also wasn't too much boba included. For paying a lot for it, I didn't find it worth it. Also, a bummer is that dairy alternatives are strictly for lattes, matcha, coffee, and smoothies--not milk teas or specialty drinks. With the variety of drinks, I can see why TP Tea is popular. I probably won't frequent as much due to the limited options of alternatives and adjustments. They're sandwiches between other shops off Telegraph with street and garage parking nearby.
