This morning I was craving a big breakfast burrito so decided to yelp around my area and Toras Azteca popped up that they sell Breakfast burritos. I would always see this food truck (tortas Azteca) parked alongside of the road of The giant Highway of Richmond parkway for years but never tried it so decided to try it myself. The times I've seen it, i see a lot of construction workers eating there. Parking is alongside the road where the food truck parks at, so you would have to pull over to the side of the road, which I only give 4 stars for, because traffic is fast (speeds of 50mph and up) and incoming and can be dangerous and not safe. The food truck had a lot to offer. I posted pics here of the menu and miscellaneous items they have. Lots of variety from tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, to cold sandwiches and what I came for, Breakfast burritos. I decided to get the #1 breakfast burrito which is Bacon, Sausage, Ham, potatoes, egg and cheese. Didn't have to wait for the food too long, I would say 5-6 minutes max until i got my burrito.OMG the burrito was FAT, generous size, and delicious. Its definitely good to share for 2. I like my food on the spicy side and thank god they have different types of hot sauces for your spicy needs to offer. The burrito was delicious. I couldn't believe I've been missing out on these breakfast burritos and this food truck. This truck has been sitting here of the highway, every morning, for years and I just discovered the flavors of it. The price for this burrito was amazing. Cheap like $6-7 dollars. Normally this burrito as big as this is an easy $10-12 dollars elsewhere. The meat and eggs were perfectly cooked. I would definitely visit this place again and get the number 1 or try something new other than breakfast. Can't wait to go back to try a regular burrito. Definitely recommend this place for a breakfast burrito. Lots of flavor, food comes out fast, cheap price, can't beat it.

I have been eyeing Tortas Azteca for months now and finally got to try it recently. I ordered the #1 Breakfast Burrito (bacon, sausage, ham, potato, eggs & cheese). The burrito was tasty and definitely hit the spot! It was also generous in size, which kept me full for most of the day.The location of the food truck is not the best as it is on Richmond Parkway, which makes it difficult to pull over as there are many driving over 45mph on this street. And there is no parking lot to pull into, just the shoulder. Other words, be careful! The ladies in the truck were sweet. Food came out fairly quick and it was good, especially for the price! Wouldn't mind coming back to try out their tacos.

Another favorite that I've been stopping at for years and am finally getting around to reviewing. It's a perfect pit stop for grabbing a quick breakfast burrito prior to hitting the bridge. Today I had the machaca con huevos, frijoles y queso. Had them drizzle some salsa inside and it was killer as usual. 5 Stars for unique location, authenticity and sweet service. Just wish they did some chicharrones empanadas...Apologies for not posting a photo of my breakfast burrito, it was devoured promptly!! Next time!!

They score higher that other trucks in this area, keep in mind you'll only find them during work hours. Why I'm a fan:Fish burrito; rice, sour cream I skip the beans but add fresh tomatoes and lettuce another reason to like it is the cost $5.50 for a fish burrito that's affordable! It comes with home made tortilla chips which are also pretty good and a side of salsa, keep in mind salsa is very mild so if you are like me and love living life in the fast lane ask for a side of chiles they are nicely grill and spicy your mouth will thank me.Pro:-Fish burrito and tacos.-house made tortilla chips.-You can call ahead and place your order save time. Cons:-Came early morning once to try breakfast burrito they were MIA.Once 13 catorce

I eat here nearly every day at Chevron Refinery. I gave stars because I found the nipple or it woulda been 5 stars. Made me so mad I couldn't eat here for a week.

People call this place "Yolanda" since that is the owner's name. They are located across Chevron Refinery Gate 31 on M-F from 10:30 AM - 1 PM. Your GPS won't take you here if you type in the 1 Mills St address - use Richmond Lane & Castro St insteadMust try their Tortas Cubana sandwich - wow! burst of savory flavor in your mouth. The bread is moist but crispy on the edges. The combination of ham, ground meat, and breaded steak is perfect. Also, very nice that it comes with home made tortilla chips and salsa. The meat is a bit on the salty side, so try to not eat the whole thing. Eat half for lunch and half for dinner, complement with something healthy like fruits or something - seriously.Everything is cheap here about $4 - $6. They are located near Pittsburgh and Richmond Pkwy for breakfast, though I don't know the time.

by far, one of the better taco trucks in Richmond. AND this is the only truck i've been to that has fish tacos/burritos! everything is served with chips and salsa.. ask for jalapenos and she'll hook it up. if you're not craving tacos or burritos, there's also the corn dogs, tater tots, and other random stuff waiting for you.just don't mind that this is right across the street from the chevron refinery... extra flavor!

$5 for a carne asada super burrito. One of the best I've had at any price. Served with fresh chips and a great salsa. Fast friendly service. I'll be back.

The best (of many) taco trucks along the Richmond Parkway Corridor. If you're ever passing the Chevron Richmond Refinery and have a hunger for some tasy Mexican food prepared by a friendly face, try Tortas Azteca, located on the east side of Castro street just a few blocks north of the town of Pt. Richmond. Favorites include: chicken burritos, carne asada tortas, and carne al pastor tacos. Nice selection of mexican sodas and treats, too. And finally: Cheap!!! Enjoy!
