The location is small so it doesn't fit large parties. We had to order to go and eat at the park across the street even though we called ahead and made reservations for 5 people. The fried hamhock and lechon were well fried. The meat wasn't dry which can be a problem frying meats. All the food could use a sprinkle of salt.Prices are reasonable. Definitely a to go place and will return.

I remember this place being good. What happened? I'm embarrassed I picked this place while my family members came to visit me and was craving some good pinoy food in the Bay. The truth it's gone down hill.Sadly, we should have known from the Tito at the door bad energy of his tone of voice to rushing us from the menu, to taking our order to getting us out the door the vibes was different and horrible. It's like he is too focused on turning tables to make that money instead of letting his patrons relax and enjoy their family time and food. They should not put him in the front of the house with all his aggressiveness!! Most of the entrees we wanted were sold out already and the shrimp sinigang we got hardly had any vegetables in it! The laing we got tasted like dirt. We all felt rushed looking at the menu as he was hovering over us. After our food came no one even checked on us. We had to wave someone down for my loved ones side. Anyways, it's gone down hill no mahal! We will never return so sad as we love to support our small business!

It was my first time eating here. I enjoyed the combo plate. The lechon kawali and daing was delicious. I also ordered the palabok, it was good and saucy. The service was good. It's a small place but good. Food.

Casual and cozy filipino eatery offering a small menu of classic dishes and appetizers. They quoted me 20 minutes for my order, but it was actually ready in 10 minutes for takeout. Service was fast and friendly. There's a bit of indoor seating inside the restaurant, just a few tables. But I opted to picnic in the park across the street. Got the bistek tagalog rice plate (with steamed rice). It was not as good as their Santa Clara location, the combination of tender beef, sauce, and onions lacking the citrus/lemony flavor I usually get in this dish, which is my favorite thing about bistek, so it was definitely a miss. Oh well, it wasn't bad. I was surprised with how little rice the "rice plate" came with, but it was fine since I didn't finish the meat.

I don't have pictures of my order but none the less this place is worth checking out if you're ever in the area! Ordered their miki bihon, lumpia, crispy pata, Lechon kawali and Tocino. Everything was good! The flavor of the dishes were pretty legit and everything was fresh! The only bad part was I ordered a large soup broth but they forgot to pack it with my order. Other than I'd still be back tho!

This Filipino restaurant has been here for ages! How long has it been? I have been going here for many years, a couple times a year. Hippies brew used to be close by but was now replaced with Macs by Icky. There is street parking and a small public parking area next to it. The restaurant is small so this place can fill up quick. Usually people like to call-in orders for pick-up. It's difficult to rate this place because things can be inconsistent. First to mention, they have a "Not Available" list on a white board that they will mention to you right when you sit down. I have gone here for lunch and for dinner and there is always something on that white board. I feel like I might see NY Steak on it consistently. Luckily we usually order the same thing all the time and its never in that list. Another thing is, space can feel claustrophobic. They tried adding as many tables and chairs they can that it is a bit difficult to move sometimes. This also means noise level can be high on a full house. Staff and service is quick so wait times aren't long. We always get the sizzling plates with java rice. I have tried other things but I usually go back here for these items. Delicious juicy pork/chicken, nice char from the grill, and a nice brown gravy accompanied with some java rice. The serving is big so we never end up getting any sides/appetizers. Overall, I would still recommend it, just be prepared that they might run out of things so be flexible with what you want to eat.
