I had an amazing experience at this Thai restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavors. The service was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and efficient. The ambiance was also wonderful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving great Thai cuisine!

I love coming to this place! Their food never misses. It's all so flavorful and comes in big portions. All of the servers are friendly and welcoming. There is a small parking lot but there is street parking available, it is just located on a semi busy street. There are two rooms so there is a lot of seating available! I recommend coming during lunch time as they have lunch servings for a cheaper price.

I've dined here and gotten take out, both options are fantastic! Service was great; waitress was attentive, water filled, and packed our leftovers. Casual spot, no need to overdress. Parking situation can be a bit tricky since they have a small lot (3-5 spaces) and then street parking. Pad See Ew - (5/5) Pad See Ew is my favorite dish at Thai places and this dish did not disappoint. Amazing!!! The veggies + noodles were perfectly coated in the sweet + savory sauce. Pad Kee Mao - (5/5) Delicious, this dish has a mild spicy kick and crunch from the veggies to it.Pad Thai - (4/5) Solid dish, will need to re-try since I can't remember the flavor profile. Green Curry - (5/5) This curry was addicting, couldn't get enough of eating this with rice. One dish was enough for at least 3-4 people. Yum Nua - (4/5) They make salad and beef taste great together. There was a fish-sauce based sauce to this dish, reminded me of Vietnamese Vermicelle dishes. Delicious! The beef was slightly dry, would be better if it were more tender and juicy. Overall, I will definitely be back. Their portions are huge both dine-in and take-out, I love it! I'm happy with my experiences here, this place will be on my usual go-to spots when I'm craving Thai food.

Service and food was AMAZING, our waiter was so sweet and even packed up our leftovers for us. We came in during lunch and ordered the bbq chicken entree and the basil fried rice were so flavorful. The entrees during lunch also come with a Thai tea! Definitely going to come back!

(5 out of 5 stars)If I could rank it higher then 5/5 would, I've lived in the East bay for my whole life, and I love food and have tried many places, including Thai places, this is by far my favorite Thai restaurant... FOOD restaurant! I love it here, the service here is also 10/5, they make me, my girlfriend, my family, and friends feel like family! Never have they treated me with anything less then a smiling face. Me personally I always make sure to get the Pad Thai and Tom Kha. The ambiance here is also very nice! I love how culturally rich it is, with many pictures and a wall showing Bangkok! Also have a very nice and comfortable seating area! This place bring comfort in all ways.When you go tell them Rothyy sent you!

Came in for a quick lunch but still enjoyed every moment of it. The staff is friendly and makes everybody feel welcome. They always check in on you and make sure you're enjoying your food. We ordered through their lunch menu which includes an entree, white or brown rice, and a drink. Each meal was only $12.50 but the serving size was perfect! This place is located on a semi-busy street and in a small plaza so parking is limited. I would highly recommend checking this place out for thai food!

Top Thai is a gem in Castro Valley! I ordered the garlic chicken, and it was fantastic. The chicken was tender and packed with bold garlic flavor, perfectly complemented by the side of rice. It's clear they use fresh ingredients and take pride in their dish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu.

Overall, 3.5/5, but will bump it up to a 4/5 since the service was good and the food was affordable. The portions are massive.My friend from the area loves Top Thai, so we stopped by for lunch two Sundays ago. The interior is pretty homey and not too fancy. The server was nice and made sure we had enough water, always. We got an appetizer and entree to share and still had leftovers!SATAY CHICKEN - 12Each order comes with five skewers of satay chicken which wasn't too seasoned on their own. The peanut sauce on the side was on the sweeter side. I didn't love the combination of the chicken and sauce, but maybe this is more so of a personal preference.PAD KEE MAO WITH PORK - 13.50The portion size here is huge. I am a huge fan of stir-fried wide noodles and that is what this entree is. I loved that there was a good amount of veggies, eggs, and pork. I probably wouldn't choose pork for this entree again since it's pretty dry and not super flavorful. I'd go with the beef if I ordered this again. Overall, flavorful and a good mix of sweet and savory.Very affordable and hole-in-the-wall. Come support this mom & pop shop!
