If you haven't visited Todos and you live in the Bay Area, you're officially a criminal. The law of the land requires you stop by and try it. If you know, you know & if you don't, it's best you find out. Manager Beto Martinez has a longstanding presence in the Oakland community serving up some of the best Mexican food in the Bay & has been bringing so much life to this place with homemade, handcrafted recipes made in the tradition of the family who passed it on to him. I love the taste of legacy, don't you?What's good, you're wondering? EVERYTHING! Personally, I'd start with the Pozole and the fire salsa that goes with it. Unmistakably, the best Pozole in all of Oakland. I came in with my kid who is a picky eater & they approved of the burrito. If I remember correctly, they have a kids menu!For the grown ups, the cocktails here are spectacular, well balanced & served up by some of the friendliest folks. There is ample space at the bar and the vibrant colors n artwork on the walls definitely add a touch to the ambiance of the place. Consider it a destination that would mark your experience of the best of the best in Oakland eats.

This place knows how to Taco Tuesday! Love the vibes of this restaurant, super spacious, and tons of food and drinks to choose from. I had carne asada and carnitas tacos and they were delicious. I love how they give you plenty of meat and the salsa elevates them even more. Definitely check out their menu as they have a solid happy hour and Tuesday specials. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Todos serves very solid Mexican food, margaritas and a great happy hour! They have my favorite bartered fish tacos in the area, served with great sauces of a variety of spice level. I especially love the chipotle salsa. I'm also a big fan of their breakfast burritos on the weekend and happy hour whenever I can -- their mango margarita is the best. They have some outdoor seating which is nice to take advantage of when you can. Lastly, you can order and check out via a QR code on your table so service is really easy, quick and smooth.

I'm so pissed off. I've ordered from this place and I never never had a bad experience. I normally order the flautas and they come nice and crispy. This time they put the flautas on top of refried beans the soggiest nastiest flautas arrived. Obviously, if you put it on top of beans, they're gonna get soggy.

Todos has been my go-to basically since they opened! Partially because it is the closest restaurant to my house, but also because it's fantastic! The food is consistently delicious, and they serve generous portions sizes. It's a casual environment, approachable menu, with top notch customer service. Their super tacos are my favorite, but I've heard their burritos are amazing as well. I hardly ever have room for dessert, but the key lime pie is a must!But my favorite hour to go: happy hour! Variety of margs to pick from, and a ton of food items! Trust me, this will be your new go-to happy hour spot.

Portion wise for price: okay -- didn't realize Oakland started adding 4% surcharge like SF.Grilled fish taco was the best of the 3. Would definitely just get that again.Baja fish taco was a bit too oily but the guac & salsa helped. However this taco fell apart very easily from the sauce. Carnitas mission burrito was fine, meat was good and tender but flavor was lacking and super oily. Needed a lot of salsa to get flavor & cut through grease.

I've ordered delivery from Todos more than I'd like to admit, but that can be said of a lot of restaurants so welcome to my review! I came here in Cinco de Mayo. Not a lot was going on, but the block party Todos had was advertised over the weekend so I figured I'd check it out. It was very busy with vendors, music, people and other activities on Valdez St. After getting on the waitlist we were seated within ten minutes. It was bustling with people inside, but they seemed to be going a pretty good job of crowd control. After we were seated the waiter came much faster than I thought they would considering how many tables they had. NO complaints in service. We were served quickly with our drinks followed but the chips, guacamole and salsa trio. Around the time we were finishing up with the appetizer our meals came out. I ordered the grande chicken tacos and a side of beans and rice. The amount of guacamole is what makes these tacos just a tad bit more than delightful. I think my chicken was grilled but I really can't remember - it tasted like it so maybe it was pollo asado. Also, the drinks were pretty good too. I ordered the mango margarita and he ordered the Cadillac margarita. The customer service was really great. I have to say, good customer service in as busy of a spot as this is normally average. We expect the wait to be longer and for drinks to come from the bar about 20 minutes late but nope! Fast service, cheer, a smile, filling food and a person who seems to like what they do. Used to go once a week, then got a little pissed when they went from offering table service to having to order on an app (with mandatory service charge.) I stopped going for a while, prob go monthly now.It's walking distance for me. The food is always pretty good. Consistent at least. Had some tortilla soup last week that was great. Servers are always friendly. And they have a full bar. I guess, maybe it's like a small Chevys with way better food.No where else in walking distance at least with always solid food and a full bar. So as I reflect on it, I gotta bump my review to 4 stars. Everyone seems to make you order on an app lately. And I prefer old way.
