Good and fast experience. The tea was good and refreshing kinda gave a cookie and cream taste. Overall I would check them out a gain. Good service as well

The Tocotea by my house closed down, so I was surprised to see this one was still around. A few tables to sit at inside. I enjoyed their drink of...Okinawa Milktea: Rich milk tea blended with Okinawa brown sugar, topped with chewy coffee jelly cubes.

Just a quick update as we recently dropped by TOCOTEA again after a long hiatus.We recently dropped by as we needed boba after a morning of errands. There was a couple of folks just hanging out and it was only us ordering at the time. Plenty of seating on the side and a bright. One person was working which made sense as it's a Monday. Easily ordered and paid for our drinks. I only noticed afterwards that there was a "large" size but didn't see how much it would be to upgrade. I guess I wasn't paying too much attention to what was on the menu. But I think, I did see that they printed some menus near the ordering area so you don't have to stare at the menus on the screen.We got our orders in a timely manner and was on our way. The drinks were good. I don't think I had anything wrong with my drink. I also haven't been ordering drinks with boba these days because it's hard for me to chew...that's a different story.Overall, not a bad option for boba. I think we just don't go in this area a lot so it's not one of our go-to spots. Also sometimes parking can be a bit crazy because it's near Krispy Kreme, Jollibee and the grocery store. Definitely will try out their other drinks the next time I come.

Was in the area for dinner, so stopped in. Asked for lemon cheesecake...out of lemon. Asked for red velvet instead...also out. Third time wasn't a charm, because also out of tiramisu. Settled on a taro cheesecake for myself, husband and our daughter and our oldest got the strawberry milk tea. First sip, cheecake top was delicious...but, the taro had no flavor. It was very bland and I love taro drinks. The tapioca pearls were way too chewy, that they were hard to chew at all. They should have some bite to them and this was like too jelly. My daughter's strawberry milk tea wasn't much better. Spent $31 on 4 drinks that weren't that great.

Since I was in Union City and had been wanting to try this I went to give it a try! It's located right next to luckys and Jamba Juice, I went after eating at Backyard Bayou in the same strip mall. The service was pretty quick and the guy making it was nice! They have a lot of comfy seating, some cute painted murals you can take pics of, and cute cup designs. I got the Matcha with boba it was pretty standard, the boba wasn't hot/fresh but it was probably towards the end of the night so it makes sense. I wouldn't go out of my way for this spot but being in the area it was convenient and tasty! Would go again if I am nearby it and craving boba.

Tocotea is in the Union Landing plaza. This area gets pretty busy on weekends and weeknights, but there is plenty of parking in this part of the plaza. The hours has changed earlier last year because they used to close pretty late like 10 PM/11 PM (depending on the day), but now they close either 9 PM or 10 PM now (depending on the day). Sometimes, they are closed before the stated times, even when I call ahead to confirm. I called one night at 9:30 PM to ask them if they were closing at 10 PM and they confirmed that they were, and when I arrived in 15 minutes around 9:45 PM, they were already closed for cleaning - I would had appreciated it, if they had told me on the phone that they would close early for cleaning, so I did not have to waste my gas and time to come down here for no reason. Service could had been a bit better, as the employees are not always the most friendly/professional, and sometimes the wait for 1 drink is long, as they were not well prepared with having their supplies ready (such as looking for cups or lids right after I order, which prolongs the wait for my drink).My go to drink here is their Jasmine Milk Tea with boba, but I was debating if I should get their Cream Cheese Green Tea - I ended up not getting it because I did not remember whether I liked it or not. On my last visit, I came here out of convenience and my Jasmine Milk Tea was eh - they forgot to put sugar/sweetness, so my drink did not tasted right. I brought my drink back and they added sugar/sweetness to it, which was much better, but it was still decent.

I've fallen in love with boba this summer and decided to stop by Toco Tea Union City on my way home this warm Saturday. I was sadly disappointed as the tea was so overpowering I couldn't taste the fresh fruit and the boba was warm and extremely gummy. Three stars for the customer service and no stars for the boba tea.

Cute shop in union landing, this is was my first time trying them out. I ordered the match which was really tasty and refreshing.

Terrible thai tea. More water than tea. When I asked for a refund she told me she doesn't know how to do that and I should try something else instead. If you can't get a simple Thai tea done right, how will anything else taste better? Left the tea there and told her I will do a chargeback with my credit card. she didn't seem to care and invited me to do that. I was so upset I even took back the cash tip i left.

Tocotea has been a very convenient boba spot for me thats really close to my place. Other boba places are like 15 mins away but tocotea isnt too busy from the times ive goneI got help by a dude named Nam and he was very chill, helpful, and friendly and got my order completed really quickly. If something was wrong with my order he double checked and then fixed it for me with no issues.The food and drinks is very affordable with the size given to you and the cheese coin is a very comforting snack to have. As for the shop itself, it has a chill cafe atmosphere and music in the background that i can relax to while doing any work or reading i wanna do outside of my house.
