I've not been to this establishment in over 15 years even though it's only a mile from my house. My friend and I decided to meet for brunch there a few weeks ago on Friday. We both ordered the Belgian waffle breakfast that came with sausages or bacon and 2 eggs. My friend opted for sausages and scrambled eggs and I chose eggs over easy with the sausages. When the waitress brought us our food, they were both scrambled eggs. I just went ahead and settled for the scrambled eggs Instead of returning it for the eggs over easy. Our waitress said she would have made the egg over easy but i thought this was not necessary. The feedback was for future. I would definitely recommend Tina's place. Our server was attentive and not over bearing. The waffles were perfect. I don't know about their dinner or lunch menu, but I do highly recommend the Belgian waffles. On my next return I'll try the eggs Benedict. Honestly I'm not sure about the negative reviews as my experience here was awesome. I hope more people would give Tina's place a chance since this is our local cafe downtown Pinole. It's nice and clean and excellent customer service. You will not be disappointed.

We're coming back! Every time! Shoutout to the lovely Shyla! Service was wonderful. Welcoming, homey vibe with meals that warm the heart down to your belly. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, they got you with servings big enough to share or save for later. Tina's has a variety of options from classics to exciting twists, sandwiches, salads, benedict's and more. Everything was delicious. Tina's andouille catfish and grits come with a yummy brown gravy and the grits were cooked to perfection. Catfish was tender and not dry. Chicken fried steak was hefty with the best house potatoes I've ever tried. And it came with biscuits and gravy that were fluffy and melt in your mouth. Looking forward to our next visit!

I had the Country Waffle Stack. The thing is huge, great value. But besides the potion size, I'm till not sure how to feel about it. I liked it but didn't. Thought it would have been better unstacked. If every component of the dish kept the texture it should have, that's a 5 star dish. Concept, creativity and flavors are there, just missed on execution. As for the service, don't know how to feel about that either. She seemed really nice but service was lacking. She brought out our utensils and just left them at the end of the table, along with a glass bottle of water and a stack of cups. Most restaurants at least pour your first glass. The thing that stood out the most, was that everything was sticky. The table, condiment bottles, menu, I mean everything.

It's been ages since my last visit, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have expanded to the adjoining unit. Or probably added about an additional half to two-thirds more space for tables.The eggs benedict were just as delicious and plentiful as i remember them to be. I'm glad to see they're not only thriving, but expanding.

Best Waffles and Pinole. They are sweet and crispy and light and fluffy all at the same time so much so that they don't even need syrup but the hot syrup and butter melting through every crevice makes it 100 times better than I could ever be they are super busy when they're open because it is a popular spot in Pinole. It's a family restaurant all are welcome.

They have the best food but the worst service, I was there waiting for a table after I got sat nobody help me , 20 min after I ask for coffe nobody helped,the server went took the order and that was it I was missing my toast never got it till I was about to leave I tip then because I worked in customer service too but that's not how you treat people. Conclusion order to go food it's really good.

Would be 5 stars but service was terrible. We waited about 20 minutes this morning to be sat down, the waiter forgot our order and got it from another table. Food was delicious though. French toast breakfast with eggs and bacon. Wish service could be better. Ambience is pretty friendly and homey feel. Would come again if service improves.
