Came here for brunch recently and had a lovely experience. Beautiful day for sitting outside on the terrace, which is nestled between the two swimming pools. Casual and quiet. Plenty of umbrellas on the terrace to offer up shade as the sun moves through the day. Bar has two large televisions. Service was excellent and relaxed. Food was delicious (see pics). I am on a low carb diet and they were very accommodating by allowing me to substitute the carbs on my plate for a generous side salad that was dressed lightly with a vinaigrette. My friends each enjoyed their meals - each of which were hearty portions. Even the appetizer avocado toast with smoked salmon was enough for a meal. What a lovely place for brunch! Would definitely love to come back again soon.

Elegant New American restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Located on the grounds of the Meadowood resort, next door to the ultra-high end The Restaurant At Meadowood, the vibe is country club casual. They have indoor and outdoor seating, offering a gorgeous view of the golf course, forest, and even a dreamy willow tree. We arrived at 11:30am and were still able to order from the breakfast menu, which includes interesting twists on American classics, plus seasonal items like Pumpkin Pancakes. The staff were very chill about splitting an entree for my boyfriend and I-we were not that hungry, and just wanted coffee and something light before wine tasting. We got the Cornbread Biscuit, which was just okay. The poached egg was tasty and perfectly cooked, but the biscuit itself was bland and floury, and the pesto on top somehow completely flavorless. I did love that they serve fingerling potatoes alongside. The highlight of our meal was the Croissant, which they make in house, and serve with butter, apple butter, and blackberry jam. Layers upon layers of delicate, buttery perfection. My Iced Americano was very good as well. Recommended!

I'm picky about huevos rancheros (HR) after bingeing on New Mexican version. The HR here was a killer. A generous amount of creamy black beans between two super crisp tortillas. Topped with two eggs and sour cream and avacado. OMG it is definitely worth coming here just for this dish.

We came here for lunch, the place was half empty yet service was slow and very unattractive. Our waiter was friendly but just not or present. Took 10 minutes to take our order and another 20 to get out food. No check-ins from him. I had the corned beef hash and biscuits. It was good, large portion, but nothing exceptional. Beef was cubed, would have preferred more pulled style. My husband had the burger. The burger was great, but fries were just ok, not the thick kind. Nothing was bad here, but given Meadowood's reputation I somehow expected more foodie experience.

After Wine tasting through lunch, we wanted to finally stop for a bite before heading home. It was 4:30pm, and there was no way I could go any longer without sustenance. I had eaten at the Restaurant at Meadowood once before and thought maybe there was a chance we could get a seat, but alas we arrived 30 minutes before the restaurant opened. One of the staff suggested the Grill, so why not... Well, the unfortunate answer was, "because it is overpriced and unremarkable." We ordered a couple of drinks, the waygu burger and the fried chicken sandwich. The Good: Our waitress was friendly and did a good job. Other than that, the view is probably the best part of this restaurant. It over looks a very picturesque golf course and croquet course. Honestly it reminds me of the resort from Dirty Dancing. If I saw Jennifer Grey run across the patio and jump into Patrick Swayze's arms for that iconic lift, it wouldn't surprise me. The Bad: The value. $25 each for a burger and chicken sandwich and neither was honestly worth it. Also landing squarely in the "bad" category was my "fried" chicken sandwich. Advertised as a fried chicken breast on a hoagie roll with honey mustard slaw and provolone, when it arrived one bite revealed chicken meat that, while well prepared, had no hint whatsoever of any batter, skin, or outer crunch at all. As a chicken sandwich it was ok, but as a "fried" chicken sandwich it was an utter failure. The Mediocre: The burger was a decent burger. Nothing really special to see here.Overall: I guess I had grand expectations from the grill attached to the great Restaurant at Meadowood. I was hoping some of the culinary inventiveness and finesse might trickle down and deliver - to those who didn't have time for a 4 hour meal - a hint of its namesake's greatness. Alas, the Grill at Meadowood only provided overpriced club house fare.

Awesome spot for lunch after a round of golf, there are plenty of tables with a view of the course. They also have a full bar with a few local IPA's on draft, five stars !!!

S#!+ just got real folks, this place has breakfast that's #TDF. The corned beef and hash was the best I've ever had. The freshly squeezed grapefruit, and apple juice was omg amazing. The staff is on point, everyone helps your table, not just your server. whom no matter who you get is amazing because they are all amazing. This place may be designed for tourist staying at Meadowood but it's a place every Napa local should visit. Not only is the food re-donculous but the view is stellar. This is now on my list of top five place in the valley. Yeah the price tag is what you'd expect from a resort but it's worth every penny. If your a Napa local looking to spoil yourself then you need to try this place. Oh and did I mention that they get Model bakery English muffins fresh daily to go along with their fresh jams it's insane.

Overlooks the golf course and if you're lucky, you'll get to see some swans wandering through the greens. Lunch really capped off our little getaway:*pear soup, creamy rich, satiating, the earthiness of the maitakes balanced the dish*kale chips, super light, great pop from the honey mustard sauce*bright green juices*salmon, cooked medium rare, my favoritePrices are reflective of the service, quality of ingredients and location. Fresh juice was $16/glass and kale chips were priced at the same. Good eats, portions are very conservative, room service is much more generous.

The service here is EXCELLENT! My friends and I figured out afterwards reason why they were all nice and VERY excited to see us.....the wait staff was pretty much male dominated and we were the only sassy young women that ever seem to visit that area (lol). We noticed at the time, the avg age of customers seemed to be around 50+. The drive up there was beautiful way up in St. Helena, past Napa and the scenery is spectacular. The food tasted amazing....my friend and I shared French Toast and Eggs with Corned Beef Hash (see photos). We sat inside but spend a lot of time on the patio taking pics :-) The waiters all offered to take photos of us....can't really complain about the extra care and excellent service! Whooo hoooo!

We live in Calistoga (10 minutes away). We thought to drop by and check out the place for future dining. We were told by a security guard at the gate that unless we were dining now, this was private property and we have to leave. So we left. Needless to say, we will not be dining here EVER.
