I've been here several times over the years for shows, some nights blurrier than others :') It's a decent venue! A little grimier than some others in the city, but not the worst.- Smooth security process! Bag search and metal detector- Bar located in adjacent room and at the back of GA dance floor (RIP bartenders' eardrums)- EXPENSIVE. DRINKS. One vodka cranberry ran me $27 this year... WTF ;_; Post-COVID prices I guess- Acoustics are questionable at times. Naturally, the okayest location for all frequencies is in the middle of GA (the sides are terrible)- Pretty spacious dance floor considering the number of tickets sold. I have yet to feel cramped at a show- Gender neutral restrooms typically have little to no wait, surprisingly-- and restrooms overall are maintained well- Balcony upgrades are typically available onsite for GA ticket holders if not sold out- First aid is upstairs, a single service window in an already-tiny tiny floor. Ear buds were $1 (most places provide these free?)- Outdoor smoking section available, but kinda cramped and not coveredNOTE: I would park at SFMTA Polk Bush Garage and walk over! Relatively cheap compared to other lots ($10 for the night) and secure.

Great shows but the bar is garbage. I got overcharged and when I refused to pay for a $28 shot I walked away and was harassed by security and management. I didn't get 86d but I might as well have. I missed part of the show I paid for that way being given away for free on dothebay. Desperate bar. Make sure you get what you pay for.

The Regency Ballroom was holding the Edwardian Ball over the Friday-Saturday weekend. During the Saturday afternoon the ballroom is open so vendors can sell some products like clothing and other wearable accessories. Most of the clothing were made for the Edwardian Ball for both men and women. The ballroom is relatively small with an older design. I do wonder how the place would look during the Edwardian Ball.

Been here a few times, overall it's a suitable venue for the acts that come. The staff was cool and ensured that no violated the wristband detection process for general admission versus VIP/MeetNGreet. They are very 420 friendly.I didn't notice and food for sale but they had bars that serve cocktails. The situated so that no matter where you're located (in the ballroom) it was good view of the performance.

One of my favorite venues. Very close to the bridge so it's nice because I live in Marin I don't have to wander too far into the city. Parking is a little hard but it always works out. The staff is very nice and so is the security. I like the size of the venue it's still a little big but still feel intimate

Came here for the first time for the most Kamelot concert in September. It was a beautiful venue, and I came early so that I could stand close to the front stage. No fuss with security, and it was a magnificent concert! Fantastic acoustics. Even though I'm 5'2", I was still able to see everything on the stage just fine. Wonderful concert here.

Visited for the first time for a rap concert and it was a nice place. It is quite small so the concert feels more cozy unlike stadiums. I'm not sure how good the amenities like the bathroom is, or what the bar was like, but I can definitely say that the service was great at the entrance: a few months ago everyone who got tickets was notified that the locations had changed. I was 4th in line when the doors opened and my ticket did not scan due to location change. The staff took only about 5 minutes to fix the issue with the 3 people in front of me and then my ticket and the ticket of everyone behind me were scanned with no issues. That was really nice of the staff.

The tickets aren't cheap 60 bucks a pop. Bathrooms were clean for about an hour. We bought two whiskey and ginger ale tasted like someone was watering their booze down that was 35.00, your better off if you sneak in some buzz balls. The sound was not that great Base was too loud and muffled, and you couldn't hear the vocals. Sat in the upstairs balcony,,, decent seats,,, although cramped,, but it's 100 years old so what do you expect,,, lots of really cool ceiling coffers,,. Lots of marble lots of chandeliers. SF is notorious for its clip joints.

Tried to see Uncle Acid last night and it was terrible. They made some lame movie and were playing background music to it. I asked my wife when the band was going to start playing? and she said that they were and it was not good. Bummed because I gave my Reverend Horton Heat tickets away to see something that just wasn't cool music. Moral to the story: always go see Reverend Horton Heat
