The Office: Berkeley

Great interior decoration and amazing location. Just 5 minutes away from BART. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I considered both WeWork and Nextspace nearby before ultimately deciding on The Office and I couldn't be happier with my decision.Our company regularly has packages delivered and the front desk staff has had no problem receiving the packages and dropping them off in our space. The internet is fast and the coffee is delicious, definitely a major upgrade from our previous situation having to manage our own office space.

I came here for a tour and decided to opt-out on signing up. It was expensive compared to other places I was visiting and parking is kind of challenging. The phone booths are very tiny refurbished closets. They have more dedicated desks and offices than open space for those who just want to squat down for the day. Plenty of outlets though, both on the wall and floors. The design and interior are colorful and well designed just a lot smaller than what I was looking for.

The best! The office has been the most amazing resource, study spot, co-working area, and location for all things postal mail for years! Kyle is amazing, everyone is super helpful, and the coffee is always spot on. I couldn't recommend the Office any more highly to anyone in the Berkeley area. It's so close to campus and all the amenities are amazing! Please try if your reading this! And thank you to Kyle for so much help! The best co-working space in the Bay!!

Great space! Never too crowded, friendly staff, reliable WiFi and amenities.Way better value than WeWork or other overpriced coworking spaces.Have not attended any events, but they seem to be frequent and well thought out!

Super welcoming and clean space to call your home office away from home! Love the amenities and the use of 2 different conference rooms!

New, bright, very well-designed co-working space right in the heart of downtown Berkeley. We literally came in on the first day and they were still working out a few of the kinks, but the overall space is absolutely gorgeous! Friendly staff and reasonable prices make this a very strong competitor to WeWork for the top co-working space in Berkeley!

Fantastic space for startups, small teams, or individual professionals. They have cultivated a cool, respectful community and the space is just beautiful (reminds me of Dwell magazine). The only downside is that you may not be able to get an office (or be on the waiting list due to high demand). Kyle and Layla who help run the space are awesome.

I used The Office to hold a meeting in one of their conference rooms. The Office was clean and quiet with a nice layout and good wifi reception. The Office is near reasonable parking for the meeting participants, too, when compared to the other public garages. Kyle, the receptionist, was helpful and friendly. The hourly rate was reasonable, too, when compared to other coworking spaces nearby. I highly recommend this alternative when you are trying to work or have meetings in downtown Berkeley. It's a few blocks off Shattuck Avenue, but it's worth the short stroll.

I really like working there. Location is in the heart of Berkeley, just 5mins away from BART station. Interior is quite good, its give you a positive vibe. Plus the staff is quite friendly and cater to your need real quick!Overall a clean space with fast internet. I will highly recommend this place!

This lovely new co-working space in Berkeley is a great place to get work done. The space is well-designed and bright, with all of the amenities you would want. From passing by on the street, it looks pretty small, but the space extends much further back than I expected and has several different working areas. As of now, there aren't tons of members, which means it's a quiet and peaceful place to work without too many distractions or crowding. I would definitely highly recommend it!
