If the Lost Church was running out of his house(Brett) on Capp St in the Mission...isn't that the Chapel? Chapel and Lost Church..haha..creative space for music and presentation..did you really connect to somebody that presented a show? It's a big city..is that your excuse all the time..well at least I could be entertained and then at Vesuvio there was not much for me..List of events every night..in Santa Rosa too? First time visit...

Pick a show and go. It's going to be great. Good for your ears, eyes and heart. Great neighborhood/community live music venue to go with a date or a few cool friends or any family that wants to see and hear an artist pour their heart into their craft because they have to and they love to. Cool vibe. Part art gallery, part theater. Beer, wine, kombucha, sodas, cider, seltzers, NA beers, water. Friendly bar staff. :) ADA accessible with an elevator. Great room sound too. Standup comedy, magicians, poetry or performance art some nights too. Really varies. Pick a show and go.

I understand the name now. It is hard to find! We went around the block a couple of times but if they do not put the sign out there is no way to find the Lost church. We finally found parking and came in 15 mins after the doors opened. We are greeted by a very friendly gentleman that checks us in and walks us through the location. The location is small but cozy. Unfortunately the chairs are very uncomfortable and there's not many drink options. We went to see Daniel Weingarten and it was such a good set! He was very friendly! it was a small quaint environment so it made it very intimate. Wish the chairs were a bit better but all and all I would go back again.

Absolutely the BEST 99-seat venue, it's in SF's North Beach, where lots of tourists visit, but only a few know about this UNDERGROUND haven for music, comedy, magic, group events, and more. Founded by the young Cline family, and originally hosted in a 49-seat venue in the Mission, SUCCESS allowed them to move to the larger venue while offering the BEST IN ENTERTAINMENT SATISFACTION in SF!The Lost Church also offer a beer, wine, non-alc bar, plenty of modern, clean restrooms, ADA access, and AMPLE parking two short blocks away in a monitored lot. Do you like telling your friends about your UNIQUE experience in SF? Then CATCH A SHOW at The Lost Church and you'll be telling about it forever! "There was this underground, cool, velvet-and-wood space where I heard/saw/experienced the BEST TIME ever!" Brag on.

The Lost Church has an incredible variety of shows--comedy, music, dance, literary events--in a performance space unlike any I've ever seen. (And I've seen many around the world.) Beautifully decorated with an impressive variety of art--paintings, photography, sculptures and lovely stained glass light fixtures. The hostess, Aireene, was super welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend checking it out!

This is a wonderful venue for plays & performances. We went to see Rachael Garlin's first time performance of the Ballad of Madelyn & Therese. Very intimate venue with great local artist(s). They serve drinks and it was a Friday night well spent to support the arts ;) we met Rachael after the show and fully support her passion project!

This is my favorite place in San Francisco. The new location is a bigger, cooler version of the first location! We were bummed when the moved to North Beach because it soooo far, but is also perfect for them. Love you guys :)

The Lost Church is truly a hidden San Francisco gem. A uniquely San Francisco arts and entertainment space, estled in the heart of San Francisco's North Beach, Heartily recommend it for locals as well as visitors. They showcase local and touring singer-songwriters and bands as well as comics, magicians, and others. We've been numerous times to see live music there and it's an experience unlike many other venues. It's a wonderfully intimate space where the focus is truly on the performer. Even if you're not familiar with the evening's entertainment, you won't disappointed.
