The Kebab Shop

My husband and I decided to try something new today so we checked out the menu online, decided on what we wanted, then went there to order and eat in. The location was in the same lot as 99 Ranch Market, so plenty of parking. The queue line started as soon as you walked in and the menu was clearly posted and easy to read. The cashier and the line servers were all extremely nice and the place was clean and fully stocked. Love that!! We ordered the promo of 1 wrap/1 bowl/2 sides and it was plenty of food. The wrap appeared to be as big as a footlong and the bowl I ordered was over greens with the chicken gyro meat. I was watching the chicken, which was layered on the spit, turn a beautiful golden brown, dripping with juices as it was cooking. I gotta get me some of that! Both the wrap and bowl were delicious, made with very fresh, quality ingredients. The sides were fries and hummus which were also tasty. Over by the drink station were small portion cups that we could fill with extra yogurt sauce, a fire sauce and a creamy cilantro jalapeno sauce. We both ended up putting the hummus in the wrap and on the bowl then mixed in the creamy cilantro jalapeno sauce. The cilantro jalapeno sauce pushed it over the edge -- SOOOO good!The server who delivered the food to our table may have been the owner. He was very polite, came and checked on us again about halfway through, and waved goodbye as we were leaving. Dining area had plenty of choices, i.e., high tables, low tables and booths and the decor was comfortable in design and colors. There was a screen that shared other locations across the US and rotated screens so visually there was intrigue to watch. Fresh, high quality ingredients / comfortable and clean environment / service with a smile -- how can you pass that up?!!! We will definitely be back to try more menu items and support his family-owned business.

I'm going to give this a 5 star even though it doesn't deserve it and I'll explain.The photo cover on Yelp with the pretty lady does not reflect the actual product received so It failed the unit test. Expected vs actual. The amount of carved meat was no where near the photo maybe 1/4 of the photo at most. Second the price is way too high for what you get. They also use tortilla and not lavish. I paid 20 dollars 1.50 top for a lamb beef carved wrap with hummus which is extra.The flavor is decent but would be even better with more meat.I also tried the craved chicken wrap with fries. The fries were almost non exist and soggy from being undercooked. Just call them potatoes instead. Despite them using tortilla I do like that they toast it. It could almost pass as lavish.I get riled up if I'm paying a premium for something I expected to be much better. I guess it my fault for having expectations.I hate giving bad reviews so an excuse I gave a bad review but giving it 5 stars. Who will read my review anyways.

I always come here for my lunch break it is a staple part of my routine and should've left a review sooner! The meat and veggies are always so fresh and it's a bonus it's halal.The staff here is fast, efficient and kind I normally don't dine in but did enjoy the comfortable environment. For me I love consistency and not once I have been done wrong or had a complaint here. Hats off to the staff 'The Kebab Shop' always hits and so glad I work close by

4+ a pretty sizable chain that serves up some delicious Mediterranean food. I can't speak too much about the service at this location because we did an online order to have a spread for Father's Day at my brother's house. For that reason, I can't speak too much about the vibe or ambience at the location either. We ended up ordering the family pack, which comes with chicken kebab (or kebab of your choice), saffron rice, Greek salad, pitas, and sauces. We ordered additional kofta, lamb/ beef doner meat, and tabouleh. Everything was so delicious and really well packaged. I think they outsource to DoorDash for delivery, and everything got here at a reasonable time. The price point for this place is pretty solid as well. Lots of food and it fed lots of people. we all enjoyed our meal. The food and price point is such that this place would be a good go to during the week for the family if no one wants to cook.

The food was great and what I recommend is a plate and a og rap which is great. The service is also great they are very friendly and nice and will do what ever they can to help and provide a good meal. The ambience is also great with some of their custom Spotify playlist playing which is about 4/5 over it's great.

Came by and tried the chicken kebab wrap. Overall I thought this was very good, a freshly grilled chicken kebab with a great wrap and really tasty sauce on it and on the side.It was a little bit pricey around $17 for the kebab wrap without any sides but the portion is generous and it tastes like high quality to me.Parking is easy in the plaza and food was made very quick. I would go back for a quick bite if I am in the area, and it is a decent option for a bite not far from the outlet mall.

Everything here is delicious, but the crave fries are one of my top 5 dishes in the tri valley. The service is great, I always beg for extra pickled red onions. They hook it up, and I tip accordingly. You all should, too!

The Kebab Shop is great! The Manager Dong or Jose was very helpful and welcoming, definitely coming back for The Chicken Skewers!

Sadly, we ordered a lamb and beef wrap( San Diego style) and all it came with was minimal meat and lettuce. We waited 20 minutes so didn't feel like waiting more time so he ate it. The quality is suffering. We used to eat here often and always loved the food. When you are paying so much for a wrap, you expect it to be what you ordered.

Awesome food and friendly staff. Jose, the general manager, provides a personalized experience like a mom and pop restaurant.
