The City Club of San Francisco

The City Club of San Francisco is absolutely beautiful and an amazing venue for any event. I had the great pleasure to support and attend a fundraising gala there last weekend for Miracle Messages of which I'm on the Board of Directors. Their event planning team was extremely accommodating and easy to work with even as we had a few changes prior to the event. The event went off without a hitch and the staff were wonderful to work with. I highly recommend the City Club of SF for an event!

Wonderful venue, beautiful rooms, terrific staff. I worked with them as part of an event for the nonprofit I started, Miracle Messages, and could not recommend them higher. Excellent member of the community!

Beautiful building in Art Deco style! The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. I had a fantastic night there with Miracle Messages!

Absolutely beautiful venue. The views were amazing. The hospitality was perfection. The food was so good and so much. Went for their holiday tea...and it was more food than I can imagine. You get the tier of sandwiches and scones and then on top of that they have pies and more cakes at the front. The selection of tea was contained and not overwhelming. The champagne was superb. It's pricey but def worth it! They had a harpist play all the Christmas classics during the tea service, which was so special.

We had a great time having our Christmas party there.The food was excellent along with the staff that served all of us that attended this event!

Classy old-school venue with mediocre food, about sums it up. Not staying on the same floor for cocktail reception and dining is a slight inconvenience for some, but I don't mind. Hey, they have elevators.

After two years of what seemed to be a bad nightmare things have started to blossom much akin to spring.As the city club gets back into full force it is always a great place to grab lunch. Food is always good ( buffet is delicious). Service is great.We were lucky yesterday to get to have the cigar lounge all to ourselves. If you ever get to have lunch here do it.Even better if you can have a lovely cigar accompanied by a lovely glass of bourbon (or two).Thanks Steve and City Club

The City Club of San Francisco is a beautiful venue. I had an amazing time at the Miracle Messages Good Neighbor Awards & Gala. The staff is friendly and very attentive. I highly recommend this venue.

We had such a fantastic experience at the City Club for the Good Neighbor Awards gala. The staff was so attentive, kind, and helpful. The facility is gorgeous and my husband and I loved the stunning Diego Rivera mural/fresco. I highly recommend the City Club for your special occasion venue.

The WORST. We were supposed to come here for a wine event. I have a life-threatening allergy to crustaceans. The first course was a crab cake, no big deal, should be easy to switch out, right? Gwenn Stroman simply refused to accommodate my allergy. She said she would refund our purchase for the dinner. I rescheduled my work around this event which we cannot now go to and it was a huge inconvenience. Not to mention we eat at places all over the city with so many crustaceans on the menu and they provide a way to keep me safe. These folks seem smug and lazy.
