The Burrito Shop

We drive by this place all the time so we had to stop and try it. We each got our own burrito the three of us. I got the steak burrito with beans and rice. Husband got the super burrito with pork everything in it. Child number two got Chile verde pork burrito with beans and rice. Steak burrito was good steak was tasty rice was kinda bland and beans were decent. "There is nothing super about the super burrito" quotes the hubbs the only difference between the regular and super is they put cheese and sour cream and guacamole the sizes are all the same, he also asked for red salsa inside the with pork but they did not do that for him, although he says the parkMeat was very juicy and not dry. Child number two says the burrito was good but said the pork was dry which is surprising since it's I cooked in the salsa verde. They also give tortilla chips and salsa. The salsa is also decent nothing too bad and not at all spicy overall it's a good place prices are very good and the quality is good too. I'm not sure if we'd come back. Nice eating area inside, people were friendly biggest disappointment was the the super burrito don't order that.

Ordered a super burrito to go. Cook made a regular. Hostess pretended it was special. Drove home and had to come back. Zero stars for the deception!

YUM! The spicy Pork regular burrito was fantastic and HUGE! Such a good value! About $10 for the burrito. The spicy pork had such good flavor... I love spice so I enjoyed it and it wasn't too spicy. The salsa flavors were good and the tortilla was definitely homemade and delicious. It's a small little hole-in-the-wall place but definitely a good stop for lunch. The service was fast.

Excellent burritos their salsas are really nice and tasty, can't wait to go back and try their tacos! Will report back when I do

That's the only burrito shop is open on Sundays and they have good burritos too quesadilla

The refried beans really ruined the burritos. Tasted canned, like straight up Rosarita. The "carnitas"/"spicy pork" was not spicy or like any "carnitas" I've ever had; it seemed marinated, simmered, and bathed in a thin red sauce. Salsas were decent, so were the free tortilla chips.

Delicious!!!! Well priced, clean and inviting!!! Make your way here! Best tacos I've had while in Oakland! Service was friendly and fast! Recommending this spot for sure!!!

Having lived in Oakland my whole life, I was happy to have been taken to my boyfriends favorite fish taco spot. A few weeks prior, I had taken him to mine. His was hands down the winner. I've driven by this burrito shop for years and never gone inside to try. The fish taco's are sauteed and put on a double tortilla with lettuce, pico, fish and topped with a generous amount of avocado. The best thing about these taco's is the sauce that they put on top. The smokey chipotle sauce, makes it PERFECTION. The staff is beyond friendly. Next time, I am going to ask for extra chipotle sauce to put on top...it is so mouth watering. Plus their chips and salsa are scrumptious as well. Looking forward to trying more things on their menu. Alway's trust the hole in the walls to have the best!!!

Can't say if it's the bean(of which there was very little) or the steak, but something was a little soupy. Threw off the texture balance I feel.

We've been enjoying the Burrito Shop for a good while,first on Lakeshore,now on College...Good burritos and Tacos-Love the special sauces they have! Always a friendly vibe; we sit outside.
