The service was great very fast and easy the food was good everything was authentic and fresh you can tell that the tortilla was freshly made and the sauce was so tasty the ambience was so peaceful I really enjoyed the food and restaurant thank you guys

Good food, friendly service, minimal wait time. I had a super burrito with chicken. The ingredient ratio could use some work and I prefer pinto beans to refried in burritos, but the chicken was great and overall everything was tasty.

This place is trash. They never season their meat. Their nachos and tacos looks like a 5 year old made it. TRASH!!!

Ordered a shredded chicken burrito and added prawns found out the hard way they don't clean their prawns so prawn waste is in the burrito AND some shell for an extra layer of crunch! Bon appetit added a star because the chicken is good and the service is good

I used to go to the College Ave. location in Berkeley many, many years ago and I was so happy to find their Castro Valley location when I moved here years back.The following pretty much says it all. Today there was a lane closure downtown and I was parked, on an errand, right near Chipotle. After my errand I had planned to get a burrito at The Burrito Shop. Thinking of the lane closure, I consider going to Chipotle, since I was right there. Nope! Gotta go to The Burrito Shop. It's that much better.

I ordered the steak and prawns bowl. I was upset once I got home and opened my food. Literally 4 baby shrimp and very little steak. Not much flavor. I'm disappointed.

The food is consistently fresh and excellent! I have been going there for years!! I usually get food to go, but it has simple atmosphere - nothing fancy, but clean!

Best burritos you can buy in the Bay Area! I could eat there every day. I wasn't too impressed with their enchiladas, but I need to try some other things on their menu too.
