The Bay's Taqueria

Tasty, filling food. The shrimp quesadilla was so yummy, and the burritos come with chips, pickles and salsa to go. I just wish they had sturdier to-go packaging.I love having a solid Mexican option around the corner!

Tried this place last night. I got the steak and shrimp quesadilla. Everything was seasoned good. Food was freshly made. They do have a large menu, not just tacos & burritos. They serve breakfast, plates, loaded fries, chicken and fries, tortas, flautas, etc. They also have veggie plates.Service was fast for what I ordered.I don't think a lot of people know about them yet, but hopefully their business grows and they stay around. Great place for a cheat meal after a long week! It was quiet when I went. One other customer was picking up food when I was there. I'll be back!

I like this place. the people are very nice and the food is great. a really great place to have nearby.

I ordered some fries and my sister ordered hamburger and fries . The fries were nasty no taste at all I ask for butter and was told they didn't have any. The lady was rude about it . My sisters burger didn't have any mayo or mustard on it and she was irritated when I asked for some . I will not being coming back or referring anyone to this place

Great food, so happy to have a taqueria in the neighborhood! Portions were huge, we got an Asada Burrito, Steak fries, and a carnitas burrito. All 3 were delicious and the portions were big. There's a small eating area, everything is served to go but you can eat in or carry out. Welcome to the neighborhood The Bay's Taqueria, we're glad you're here!

I've eaten here a few times now. I like it. For one, it's just great to have a good taqueria in the neighborhood. The service is friendly. The menu has all the usual stuff and is actually quite expansive, including things not found in every taqueria, like tortas, breakfast items, and even hamburgers and fries. I'd say prices are pretty good for Berkeley, not super low, but a couple bucks less than places like Cancún or Picante. I like that it has a few tables, though the dining area is a bit spartan -- it's definitely more is a takeout place. Eating in, you'll have to ask if you want water, or an eating utensil, or napkin.
