Temescal Works

We rented Temescal Works for my husband's 50th bday party. It was a surprise party and everything went SO well. The space is gorgeous! High ceilings, clean and lots of room. We had just under 50 people (about 1/3 kids ages 5-18) and there was room for adults to dance and kids to run around. They also allowed the use of two conference rooms which was perfect for people who wanted to be part of the party but needed somewhere a little more quiet. It's also helpful to have things like tables and chairs there already and the kitchen area is a big plus. We brought in a DJ and our own food. Cameron from the Temescal works team stayed throughout the event and was so awesome making sure people got into the space ok and that everything was all good. The booking process was also really easy. I was able to complete it mostly via email and it wasn't a ton of back and forth. They also helped me with getting event insurance and provided a list of caterers, rental agencies, etc. I kind of want to have every party here from here on out! At the very least, I'll probably stop by for coworking in the future.

Such a wonderful co-working space!!! In mid-September I was scrambling to find a meeting space available on a Friday night for a client, which turned out to be extremely challenging thanks to COVID-19. Researched 50+ other co-working spaces in the Bay, and none were open beyond the standard 9-5 business hours unless you're a monthly member. I was so delighted and relieved by how the staff at Temescal Works were so open and kind to accommodate our needs and work out a plan - thank you again! On a separate occasion, my apartment experienced a half-day internet outage and I was once again scrambling to secure internet access for my job. While online bookings are probably the preferred method, I was able to call in and arrange getting a day pass at Temescal Works over the phone. Y'all have saved me twice! Convenient location, beautiful and clean interior, high quality phone booths, indoor bike parking, friendly staff, great coffee... I am so glad that I live close by to this brilliant place and looking forward to visiting again soon!

Ideal workspace environment. Open air, beautiful building, friendly and accommodating staff. Great indoor bike parking and coffee. Excellent location for lunch options.

To my taste, this is the perfect co-working spot. The owners and staff have thought through everything, from a beautiful space to easy access to a well-equipped kitchen so you can bring your lunch fixings. The people are quiet but friendly. The phone booths work great for calls. Good bike parking. I went twice on a day pass (first day free) and then joined as a member and I'm so glad I did. I get more work done here than when I work at home. I am grateful to the staff for being so helpful.

I've got to say - THIS PLACE ROCKS! I own a real estate company and we operate out of here. My co-workers and I really love the space and the community - it's been wonderful being a part of it from the start. The owners at Temescal Works have done a great job attracting really good residents - there are a lot of creative and entrepreneurial juices flowing through here! The rates are reasonable and the service is top notch. Zero complaints! Can't wait to continue growing together!!

We held a birthday party, had dinner, DJ, security gaurd, and about 60 people. Everything worked very nicely and the staff at Temescal works (Flora) were very collaborative and very helpful.Guests LOVED the venue.

This is the perfect place to host a business event. The interior is beautifully modern yet edgy, and impressively appointed with everything you need to throw a class-act reception. (I especially appreciated being able to use real wine glasses...) We'll be back again... highly recommend!

I LOVE the community that Temescal Works has built over the past few years. While it's a great place to get some work done, they also create lots of opportunities to connect with other individuals and businesses. It has a hyper local feel as many residents walk or ride their bike here (I drive :P) and the majority of the owners live in the neighborhood. The facilities are top notch with a great kitchen space, bike racks, meeting rooms and phone booths for privacy. My company hosted a large event here in 2019 - and the space was perfect. During COVID, there have been many safety protocols in place, so I personally have felt really safe coming in on a regular basis. Overall, it's a fantastic work space with lots of interesting professionals and good local vibes.
