Tap(ioca) in your happy place and find the zen in your tea. Teazentea is tucked in this mall that's typically driven past unless you're stopping for gas or groceries from the Mexican supermarket. Without checking online, I would not have noticed this place but if you're a Teazentea fan (they have other locations), this place will not disappoint!If you're a first timer, take a few minutes to review the menu. They have a plethora of drinks ranging from traditional teas, fruit teas, juices, milks, smoothies, slushies, and coffee/milk tea. They seem to offer seasonal creations as well. If you're a tea aficionado, their signature Teazentea is a black tea that's worth trying. For three caffeine-sensitive folks, consider the decaffeinated of caffeine free options (juices, smoothies, milk, and slushies).Teazentea makes it simple for ordering - all their drinks come in one size and there are no customizations for ice or sweetness levels. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, patient to take our order, and quick to fulfill them. They also offer a 10% discount for entering your phone number for the five star rewards which definitely helps as the drink prices aren't cheap.We tried the crème brûlée ube milk and it was a bit sweet but filling! We also tried the coffee milk tea and it was mildly sweet but still very flavorful. The boba is also pretty chewy and slightly sweet.What's lacking is definitely the accommodations. There is no wifi, seating is limited, and the drinks are on the sweeter side since you don't get the option to customize them. They do have a few seats and tables inside but the place is much too small to consider spending too much time there.Overall, the drink options and flavors are big factors of why you may want to come try Teazentea's wares. The quiet mall makes it an easy and quick visit to get your caffeine fix. The lack of amenities does not make it a great place for work or studying. However, if you are looking for a new place to try with delicious drink types, Teazentea is a great option.

It seems like all of a sudden, without notice, this TeaZenTea location closed. I first ordered a brown sugar milk tea with cream here a few weeks ago via DoorDash and it was delicious. Fast forward to today and their voice answering machine, website, nor signage give any details about when to expect this location to open up again at all. Pretty disappointed about the lack of communication.

Came by on a Wednesday afternoon on the way to a nail appointment. There's plenty of parking as it's in a shopping center with other businesses.The person at the counter was so nice, she mentioned signing up with your phone number gets you 10% off your order; my idiot butt almost said no to that!I ordered the standard black milk tea with boba and coffee jelly (my fav) with 25% sweet. As I was the only customer at the time, she finished my drink within a minute. It tasted perfect. Definitely coming back again (either in person or Doordash)!

First time at this location of TeaZen Tea and the drink quality is consistent! I frequented their og shop in Fremont and absolutely love all the drinks I've tried and now that I'm in the Newark area more often, I'm so glad I can get my favorites here. My go-to is the strawberry matcha latte, it is the most perfect rendition of this drink IMO. I have yet to try this drink at another boba shop that makes it better! The strawberry syrup is just the right sweetness and the matcha flavor is smooth and creamy. I came in pretty early on a weekend and was the only customer in the store so I got to order and get my drink made instantly. The store is clean and has cute furniture and decor!

I remember this place being better, back in PC (Pre-Covid). Either that or I have a different palate now for boba and milk tea idk ‍ This is in a bit of a sketchy shopping complex, don't leave your belongings in the car (I mean don't do it ever for safety).I did remember this place having some cute decor, but most of it is poorly maintained now.I got the Strawberry Cow, I remember thinking this was such a unique drink back in the day so I always got this drink. It is strawberry milk with matcha. When I got the drink I was immediately underwhelmed. Why so pale? Where even matcha? Seems like the matcha was just an afterthought now. Like it was in the same room but was not properly introduced so it awkwardly said hi and left. Anyway not as I remember, I did try going back twice and was still not impressed so I may not come back again. Oh well

My favorite boba place in Newark. I come here at least once a week. I even love buying it for friends and family as a nice treat. Owners are super nice and the workers that have helped me have all been really nice. Ordered a princess Taro tea today. I asked for 50 percent sugar. But when I tasted the drink, it was extremely sugary. It felt like a sugar syrup. When I complained about it, the girl in the counter argued that the drink is supposed to be like this. I had ordered the same drink earlier and it was fine. But the person in the counter didn't even bother to address the issue. I had to just throw the drink as no one can have just sugar syrup. Very unhappy with this place.

After tip one drink is basically $10, it's very pricey compared to other boba establishments nearby. The drinks are made inconsistently which is unacceptable for such expensive prices. Even factoring in tip I can get much better drinks at other places within a mile radius for a few dollars less. The posted hours are inaccurate, last time I came about an hour before closing and they were already wrapping up. I've worked multiple food service jobs including boba and I understand customers who come in right before closing can be annoying, but I arrived an hour before... I recommend choosing a boba spot that won't waste your time with their inconsistent drinks and hours. Employees are nice but that's the only positive.

My coworkers Door Dashed drinks from here. I tried the taro black milk tea 0% sweet with boba. The tea is strong! I loved it!This is like my 4th time here in 3 weeks! LolJust an FYI, they use high fructose corn syrup in their smoothies so I opted out of the sweetness in the avocado smoothie with lychee jelly and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. My daughter loves the Strawberry Matcha Latte with oatmilk and boba.
