An excellent local option available in the airport, right outside Southwest gate 23. They offer bahn mi Vietnamese sandwiches that looked good, but I got the vermicelli rice noodle bowl. They also have rice bowls and salad bowls. One can choose between tofu, pork, or chicken. I asked the cashier for a recommendation and she didn't hesitate to recommend the chicken. It was delicious.Airport prices are to be expected and the food was fast and tasted very fresh.

I tried Tay Ho at Oakland Airport and was pretty pleased with my chicken bowl. The chicken was tasty, though for $18, I was hoping for more than just three pieces of chicken. The food came out quickly, which was great for catching a flight. However, the seating area could use some attention--the tables weren't cleaned, which was a little off-putting.Overall, it's a decent choice for a quick meal, but they could definitely improve the cleanliness.

Decent options to enjoy during your quick layover. We ordered a vermicelli bowl and bahn mi sandwich. The vermicelli bowl has some fresh elements that you rarely ever get from an airport eatery. It includes pickled vegetables, lettuce, cilantro and a few other toppings. The meat was way too sweet and the portion was huge. Overall, decent option especially considering it's an American airport.

Honestly for an airport restaurant, I'd give this a 3.5 if I could. Pros: Short wait for food (usually), decent food option in the airport that's better than to-go sandwiches and salads elsewhere in the terminal, seating available.Cons: Pricey (it is airport food), not anywhere as good as Vietnamese restaurants outside the airport.I almost always eat here when I fly Southwest out of Oakland. My usual order is the vermicelli rice noodle bowl with chicken, which is pretty good. I most recently changed it up and tried their chicken pho - the chicken was bland and a bit dry, and the broth was very plain. Definitely grab some hoisin sauce and sriracha from the condiments bar if you get pho here. I'll stick with the vermicelli bowl from now on.

Such a good option for food. I'm never in the mood for fast food when I'm traveling and everything on the menu looked good.It was pricey. For two bowls of chicken pho, it was 40$. But it was decent! Enough pieces of chicken and shockingly quite a bit of noodles. I finished the entire bowl and it felt like the perfect portion.

This review is specifically for the egg banh mi sandwich. I ordered it before my flight and thought the portion was pretty generous though the price is more on the high side at around $14. The flavors were good though and the bread was crunchy. I thought the portions of veggies to egg was also very good and the flavors were also good. The sandwich was made quickly and the it was served warm. My only complaint is the lack of seating -- because the airport is small people who were not purchasing anything here were also sitting here, making it difficult to find a table to eat your food.

A solid food option when flying out of Oakland. I love the flavor of the chicken, we tried both the Bahn Mi as well as the rice bowl. Great flavor for both and the rice bowl is a monster meal if you are looking for high protein, possible big enough for 2 people. A special shout out to Katun for great service and an award winning smile!

Ate dinner here before a flight. The wait was around 25 minutes on a Thursday night. For my garlic noodles, everyone who ordered it received it at the same time, so my friends got their vermicelli bowls a good 15 minutes before I did. This was inconvenient. The prices are criminally high, as are all airport meals. I went with the garlic noodles and added pork for around $25 (ouch). The flavors were good on this, although everything was way too salty together. If I had plain vermicelli or some salad, eating it with the protein or even the garlic noodles themselves would've been fine. However, this was just a sodium bomb. Garlic noodles should be able to hold on their own and this needed white rice or something to go with it. I couldn't finish it. The shiny, oily, salty bowl was shared with the rest of my friends as I was scared I'd bloat too much.

Not sure why it has such a low rating. Maybe the other food is not great, but the fried egg bang mi was excellent. Baguette was perfect with a light crispy shell with soft chewy inside. Plenty of crunchy pickled veggies. Fried egg was just a bit runny. Mayo seems to be slightly flavored. Such a pleasant unexpected surprise.

Ran across this place last year when i was visiting the Bay Area. Located at the OAK airport by SouthWest gates 23? Grabbing something to eat for my 5 hour plane ride back to the Aloha state. Their Pork Ba Minh sandwiches are very good and quite tasty!! They are now my go to whenever I'm in OAK. The service was pretty good too. The past few times i had a very personable young lady helping me out. Wish we had one of these in OGG/Hono airport!! I think they would do quite well. Look forward to purchasing my sandwich and stuff for my flight. Best wishes to you all. Mahalo for the bomb ass food
