Taqueria Los Cerros

Not a lot to say. Rude woman, cashier, rep, cook, manager idk-let's call her Miss Server. I'd seen this tiny restaurant before and wanted to try it. I walked in, and I was greeting by one of two ladies behind the tiny counter. I was looking up at a menu on wall to help make a decision-and she, Miss Server w frompy face and brows frowed, as if agitated BY ME said "May I help you?" The place was completely empty-yet the servers face was giving "Hurry TF up" So I blurt "I'll have a burrito, large" "What kind?" She countered "Oh, uh, I don't know, uh, beef?" "Carne" "Okay" "That'll be $15 and-" I handed her a $20 and she quickly issued c h a n g e.I heard nothing after that overpriced total. I couldn't check and balance, I didn't have a menu. I sat and waited. And watched as a group walked in to pick up their order. I immediately turn my attention to Miss Server-instinctively to see if they got the rude treatment. No. Miss Server was smiling the toothiest smile to this group as they checked their pickup and confirmed their purchases. But as quickly as they arrived, they began heading out. Miss Server's toothy goodbye landed on deaf ears as THEY rudely exited ignoring her, talking and laughing loudly amongst themselves. It was like they left her high 5 hanging dust dry! She had an embarrassed face. Instant karma-they were to her as she was to me. Odd, but satisfying. After 15 minutes my order was ready. Miss Server handed me the bag, slightly more pleasant face-but all in all rude, or short, or disengaged I dunno. The $20 Carne Asada Super Burrito was regular sized and underwhelming. I'd had it cut in half and still could NOT distinguish extra guacamole, no sour cream, light rice because it was all brown and shades of brown. It was not the super burrito that I'd been craving. It was such an unfortunate experience of one of my favorite foods. Never again. Bad service, bunk overpriced burrito.

For those who love Burritos, Nachos, Tacos, Quesadillas, Tortas etc , this is the place to go. The ambience, service and food are excellent. The food is flavorful. The ingredients and its freshness complement each other in your tastebuds. The price of the food equates with the quality of the food. The price is reasonable. The interior has plentiful of space and will be able to accommodate a number families and friends.I will highly recommend their seafood tacos meal. It is fresh and flavorful. The service is great. Please bring your family and friends.

All Man Homie I had high expectations for this place!!!Disappointing to say the Least!!!I was in the Neighborhood on Business and thought I Better get a Bite to eat!So I stopped by Los Cerros . I figured I would get a Carne Asada Super Burrito to Tied me over!!!So I walked in like a Boss and Ordered a Carne Asada Super Burrito!!!It came out to $13 dollars approximately!!I received my Super Burrito 10 minutes later!!It was Disappointingly Small!!!!I have gotten bigger Burritos at Taco Bell for a Third of the Price!!! With a lot more ingredients also.It didn't pass the Arm Girth test either!! I started eating it !!Mostly Rice and Beans with a few Pieces of Beef Scattered throughout the Burrito!!! No Sour Cream a drop of guacamole!!!Worst Burrito I have ever seen or bought!!!I won't be Back!!Sorry better Options Elsewhere!!!I might as well flushed my Hard Earned money down the toilet!!!LoL

Well we used to go in here all the time and a lot has changed since then. I'm no longer in a relationship and now everything's different when I come here so sad... I used to come here for burritos and was overall happy with my visits. Before I did yelp of course. Today I went in and the prices kept changing when she was telling me how much the items were. Maybe we were both confused but she told me at first it was $10 for a pint of rice & $10 for a pint of beans ... then she said it was $6 dollars for a pint each. I didn't think menu prices fluctuated. Not a terrible place but I looked at the menu and it said around four dollars for a side. Maybe I was misunderstanding the price of the pint. But to my understanding it said on the menu sides of rice and beans $4 something. I paid $6 each .... The beans are amazing probably the best beans I've found anywhere ! I just don't wanna be over charged that's not fair :( . We never used to be so maybe this was a misunderstanding once again. I'm not sure but I'm sad. Would definitely come back for the beans !! Sooo good! Don't judge a book by its cover that's for sure !Just seen on the menu they have a taco salad will be back to try that! Thanks for reading hope this helps!

If you finish a nice, brisk walk around Point Pinole and are ready to rejoice from the exploding fireworks you see on your FitBit watch, I suggest not coming here afterward as it's more a place you come to after finishing off a six-pack in the Hilltop parking lot. Jamie W. and I were looking for a late afternoon nosh, and neither of us knew much about the Pinole dining scene assuming there is one. It appeared a deep fryer was used for most of their dishes including the vegetarian options.Chile rellenos, nachos, tostadas - these are a few of my favorite things right up there with girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes but in another lifetime when my metabolism would have taken a nanosecond to burn off the generic chips and salsa they give out (photo: http://bit.ly/2nUQ9ho). I settled on the $6.95 Taco Salad which was of course covered in a snowstorm of shredded cheese and globs of watered-down guacamole and housed in a thick, oily taco shell (photo: http://bit.ly/2vYWlcC). I tried desperately to avoid the shell but failed since the crunch was needed against the wet poultry inside. Trashy service, over priced for the quality and quantity of food. Purchased a super burrito was served a kids size burrito for the price of a super. Brought it to the host attention I was told it was small due to no beans. Asked the host for additional chips was told that once we ate the (10). Chips that the server would be happy to give more. I wouldn't serve my dog nor my ex-husband food from this restaurant $27.00 gone down the drain..... served 1 burrito for the price of two.

Taueria Los Cerros is the other restaurant we hit after a long day of pistol competition at the range. TLC have good selection and their food is good. I do like that the chips that arrives are always hot and fresh. I usually order their combination plate. As of latest, I tried their Steak Fajita. The steak has good flavor and surprisingly, I would also give a nod to the beans (yes!) as well. The rest of the accoutrement were okay, typical of a Mexican restaurant. I do wish they would add more tortilla; two or three more would definitely hit the spot.

Yummy super burritos, quick service, and spacious venue. Whenever I come here, I always get a kick out of the carne asada super burritos. It's not like how it used to be, but it's still pretty delicious. I like how this place is around the Richmond Parkway area, so it's convenient if you're craving Mexican food around Richmond/San Pablo but don't want to head down the hill to search for more Mexican food, haha. The chips that come with the orders also come in abundance (at least from my experiences -- I get so much)!

This place has a lady that works there. Its been a while since i have been there. Well Everything was fine until i was to pick up my order . This women was straight rude. I dont know why they have people like her working there. She lacks costumer service skills and ethics. Bi didn't get her name. I was telling her about my order was made wrong and she threw a fit . Some people dont act right. Egggghhh.

I wanted this place to be better. Tried it a good half dozen times, and the final consensus is one star. Food: It's not bad, but the portions are small and it's by design. The place is stingy. I literally received 5 chips for the chips and salsa that came with my burrito, it was laughable like a portion you would serve a baby who's just getting started on solid food. Don't let the chips in the background of the burrito pic fool you, I paid extra for those.....Super burrito: small not super. Super Nachos: again small portion like one layer of chips deep on a plate no fork required to clean the plate.Service: Well you'd figure if you were getting slighted on the portions you'd at least get service with a smile right? Nope not here. The lady who takes your order literally does not speak. You tell her what you want as she looks at you with a face like her stomach hurts and then you go sit down. She brings your food with the same stank face and puts it on your table and walks away. If you need anything good luck, she won't ask and she's not even to be seen normally she's in the back with the cook doing whatever they do.Bathroom: Well at least the bathroom is cool right? Nah just another area of failure for this place. The bathroom has been "out of order" for months. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the bathroom one of the ladies let me use it before, they just reserve the bathroom for their own use.....
