Definitely one of the better local Korean spots in the area, albeit I went with friends who handled the ordering based on their previous visits and knowing what they preferred/didn't prefer from here. The service is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Not too many banchan dishes but the ones they do have are solid. The kimchi pancake was one of my favorites of the meal. The lady cuts it up and puts in on your plate for you. Crispy and flavorful. Their kimchi is fresh and not overly sweet, which I think makes the pancake extra delicious. The mandu was crispy, typical to what you would usually get.The sundubujjigaes were solid, both the seafood and mushroom ones. Generous with the ingredients. The seolleong tang was light and comforting. They gave us bowls of rice to enjoy with the dishes. Definitely a solid local spot for Korean food with reasonable prices.

I've been here a few times, and finally got a chance to take photos and write a review. (Everytime I came, was super hungry :-p)Ordered the popular Galbi Tang, the beef is not as tender as before, but still tastes good, will try again next time. The seafood pancake is as good as before, crispy, juicy, and sweet...yes it is a bit more sweet than the pancake in other Korean restaurant. I noticed there are onions mixed in it, perhaps that's why it is different from other restaurants, we love it!The seafood tofu soup is also good, if you are looking for some comfort food.We used to like their Kimchi, but this time it is too sour, don't know why. This is my go-to Korean restaurant in the area, highly recommend.

tried tang haus both at the restaurant and through doordash - which experience was really delicious. ive tried both the galbitang and seolleongtang. id say that seolleongtang is probably my go to one. the galbitang had a slight sweetness from the jujube that i didn't love (the overall flavor was good) but the seolleongtang was much more subtle and light in taste - with my personal preference of pepper and salt it was so nourishing and so good for the soul esp on a cold day. their service at the restaurant was attentive and the ambiance was nice and intimate. lots of yummy banchanwould def recommend for yall to check it out if youre in the area!tip:- perfect for friends/family/dates - kid friendly- pretty decent amount of parking- lots of dessert options nearby/boba right next door!

Small family business . The ladies are polite , friendly and efficient. Most of their side dishes are home made , very fresh and delicious . She cut the big cabbage in front of us to be the kimchi side dish . I love their seasoned spinach, fish cake , spicy cucumbers is very good! We have order the beef broth with brisket and ox tail . Ox tail broth is excellent and had a lot of pieces . With the white noodles inside the broth , side dishes and rice . We were very full . The brisket was too rough . I would not recommend it . However , our friends on the table next to us ordered beef tendon broth and it looked very good . Quality is generous and price not cheap . $22 for the knee tendon is the right price for the Bay Area now . I heard their seafood pancake is good . Will return the next time to try other items . Highly recommended.

One of my absolute favorite Korean restaurants in the bay area! If you're looking for authentic Korean food with healthy and nutritious options, this is the place for you. I've been here so many times and can't get enough of it!THE BROTH - Amazing. Adjust the saltness levels based on your preference. * Seolleong Tang: Sliced beef brisket, white noodles, green onions, comes with rice. Clean broth.* Kkorigom Tang: Oxtail, white noodles, green onions, comes with rice. This one is probably the best thing on their menu. The oxtail is so tender with their silky broth.*Kimchi Jeon (pancakes, 3 pieces): Their kimchi is spicy, so keep that in mind. Such a good pairing with the soups.* Haemul Buchujeon (seafood pancakes, 3 pieces); They give a lot of seafood and chives. * Mandu (potstickers with beef, pork, veggies): Korean potstickers hit differently with their noodles inside. So much flavor!Lastly, their banchan side dishes are incredibly delicious. They cut fresh kimchi at your table :) There's a kick to it. Beware that their prices may seem expensive, but it's worth the price and trip to the restaurant. Service is wonderful. The ahjummas love giving us more banchan. Even better if you can speak Korean ;) This restaurant also takes me back to my Seoul trip where everyone is so warm and inviting.

Came here for dinner with a friend recently and was happy to know we were welcomed with such an appealing aroma of Korean food as we walked in. The restaurant was quite cozy, but nonetheless still crowded. This was telling about how good Tang Haus was going to be. The auntie who served us was super sweet -- she checked in frequently. We ordered the following:- Seolleong Tang: I had this and really appreciated the light yet rich flavor of the broth; it was comforting along with the noodles and definitely offered a healthier outlook regarding the meal. - Galbi Tang: my friend got this one and let me try it -- there was a stronger broth flavor due to the meat and the spices. I can see why this one is popular! - Haemul buchujeon: we shared this appetizer and were pleased by its thickness and flavor. Be aware that this one isn't served with sauce the way other places serve it! I definitely like to encourage people to come here on a cold or rainy day. This meal is full of comfort without the guilt of eating a heavy meal. Also, the kimchi here is fresh and SO GOOD!

I've been wanting to try Tang's Haus for a while and wow it did not disappoint. This Korean restaurant definitely gives you a homey/comfort food kind of feel which is especially nice during the winter. Located near Sunright, there is plenty of parking. I came here on a Saturday night with a friend around 8pm and while it was on the later end for dinner, there were still some other parties dining so I think that speaks to it being a good spot for dinner. The restaurant is small but definitely gives off a cozy feel. I got the galbi tang and my friend got the Seolleongtang and both were delicious! Love that the broth was flavorful yet still had that clean taste that a good tang has. The meat was tender as well. Love the banchan they gave. The staff was super attentive and despite being the last ones in the restaurant, they let us enjoy our food without pressuring us to leave (although we were mindful of the close time so made sure to finish our food in a timely manner). Overall, definitely recommend and would come back!

Wanted to enjoy a delicious hot dish and this restaurant did not disappoint . The waiter was very helpful in explaining the different dishes and provided me with utensils. Along with having our soup dishes , they provided a nice spread. As an appetizer we shared some tasty fish cakes w/veggies.Perfect place for lunch or dinner!

My husband and I decided to check out Tang's Haus after seeing it a few times on Yelp and on our drive around Union City. We both love seolleong tang as well as the oxtail soup and now that the weather is cooler, this is the perfect time to get some soup and rice! I ordered kkorigam Tang (oxtail) and my husband got Dogani tang (ox knee tendon). With the order comes a bowl of rice and some banchan. They were very generous with the amount of kimchi we got as a banchan and it was delicious. Part of the appeal of Korean bone broth soup and rice is that the broth is clear and milky. You add your own amount of salt and pepper for seasoning. We got the standard size and by the end of it, we were both stuffed and satisfied! Service was quick and the staff was friendly. The waitress checked in on us a few times to make sure we were doing okay and asked if we wanted more banchan. Since we went on a weeknight, it was more low key and quiet but we didn't mind. We'll be down to come back another time. Only reason for 4 star instead of 5 is because I felt the meal was on the pricier side for the portion we got. But understanding that this is the average cost of meals in the Bay Area now.

Food is tasty and they come with banchan. Their Kimchi is really tasty. Ttukbaegi bulgogi : 4/5Sweet, lots of onions in it. Nice and flavorful! Haemul buchujeon : 4/5Nice flavor but would prefer it to be more crispy and flat. The auntie that served me was very sweet and I thought it was funny that she was like wow looks so tasty! And I tried to offer her some but she laughed and walked away lolAmbiance is nice, noticed lots of families and double dates happening here. It's also a nice place to eat by yourself although food is better when shared!I do really like this place, prices are a little much if you're eating by yourself tho!
