This is a hidden gem with great priced food! Nothing flashy or crazy just a food truck in the parking lot with some tables and chairs to sit at. We showed up on a Saturday 1pm no line and the food came out very quickly- Different Mexican Tamales - all delicious and soft- Guatemalan Tamales - very delicious and even more soft- Pupusa - we were so full from the tamales that we had to take it home! The food was soft, juicy and large portions. VERY happy that I finally tried this place out and highly recommend it. They have a number of other items and homemade drinks.

Thank god I only ordered one pupusa because it was the most tasteless pupusa ever, I couldn't taste anything but the beans and it wasn't even made fresh, the lady just reheated it, the salsa and curtido also tasteless. I would of just gave one star but the plátano frito was really good. I

I come here for breakfast pretty often. I always get the same thing the catrachitas and two baleadas. I like to buy an avocado from the store next door and ask them to put it on both :) I love their atole and champurrado. I like to go home and add coffee to it. It's pretty consistent in my experience tho sometimes there will be a new person. They're nice people tho service isn't my main priority. I usually grab it to go but there are tables and chairs next to the trailer. Overall I highly recommend definitely helps if you speak Spanish.

Tamales Yonni's is a food cart near the corner traffic lights.cart opens early, usually sells out of tamales by 1.offerings: tamales(pork, cheese, beans, jalepeno), fruit medley. tamales usually comes with a green salsa-greater value than ones in eateries.take outs:-many tamale vendors in the fruitvale with different names.-my picture didn't turn out. too much glare, think i found a solution....

THIS IS DA SPOT FOR SALVADOREAN TAMALES! Minus a star cuz today I came and the lady didn't have any :( said she would have them on Thursday but I don't work in the area on Thursday. I got the Mexican kind instead today, more moist than other places but still nothing like tamales salvadoreanos. The green sauce they give for the tamales is hella good. $2.50 each and the little Cart is open til 3pm. Otherwise check out their store location. Bonus: you can park in the el charro market parking lot instead trying to find parking in fruitvale (nightmare)

This is hands down one of the greatest hidden gems of all times! My boyfriend and I sauntered in for a quick pupusa and found the very friendly and gracious owner getting down to some beats and proceeded to engage us in witty repartee and feed us the best chicharrones I've ever had while waiting for our pupusas! The food was amazing but what really puts this place over the top was Lupita and her staff and did I mention that Lupita and I are now exchanging cooking tips/knowledge being that I'm a fellow chef! EAT HERE, you know you want to!!!!

Ms. Lupita retired! My last experience here was not pleasant at all: it took a long time for me and my son to get seated, even though there was NO customer at all. Most of the waitress doesn't not speak English so we had a hard time requesting for anything outside of the menu. Food took forever to come out, even though it was made in the food truck parked in the lot right outside.I am afraid THAT will be my last experience with them.

RESPECTFULLY the food here is HORRIBLE .They sold me some Pupusas I ordered that were old and so was the sauce. It comes with Tomato sauce and it had MOLD traces. I haven't reported because I used to go here for years a while back and it was my child hood place and I would feel bad if the business people who been there for a long time go down but I don't know what's going on neither appreciate how they are serving food like that to people now . This is messed up. Idk how they can sell this . I'm pregnant and I think I'm gonna get sick just by taking one bite off it and they even gave me the wrong order .Do not come here for Pupusas or food it's not my first time receiving this service or experience it is not the best place to eat.
