Taggart's Liquor

Just rude guy behind the counter. I was the only person in the store and he was behind me every second like I was going to still. I get it that the area isn't the best but all I wanted to tell him is to get the F off. Weird place.

Taggart's Liquor is a pretty small store, selling mostly alcohol and snacks. in this neighborhood, there seems to be a liquor store on every corner. there's a coffee shops on every blocks too.all brews are priced few big bottles microbrews. 6 paks micros available, priced at same level as whole foods (pricey)pour: millers life (32 oz, 5ish, 2)-light lager beer, mgd is one of my fav drafts. 2.75 starshas some body, tastes better when the bar comps peanuts, popcorn.-on draughtparking availablecheckout friendliness.

Great store and opens Early. Welcoming staff always greets me like a neighbor. Stores always clean quiet with all sorts of beverage selections.

***BUYERS BEWARE***Be very careful when you use your credit cards. I purchased 2 packs of cigarettes. The guy behind the counter said $20 even. I saw the cash register displaying $20. So I gave him my credit card thinking it's $20 even. However, when I checked my credit card transactions on my phone app it showed $20.60. What a sneaky ass bastard!He should've told me if there's an extra charge for using a credit card. But I use my credit card everywhere to purchase things including cigarettes but I was never charged anything not alone 60 cents. What a scam!I called the store but only got an answering machine. I left a message about the extra charge but, of course, never got a return call. It's not just a $.60 but it's a matter of principle. In addition, I went there last year to buy a pint of cognac and his price is $20 more than Safeway. So I just walked out and bought it from Safeway. This store will try to rip you off, period. There are many stores near by with much cheaper price on cigarettes and liquors. I would stay far away from there if I were you.
