We visited this truck at the Electrify Expo. Waited in a super long line as the orders were taking forever. Paid $15 for the smallest Quesadilla I have ever experienced, cut into 4 lousy pieces, some with hardly any cheese. SUCH a WASTE. THEN, less than 2 days later, the credit card I had used here and no where since was flagged for multiple fraudulent charges!!!!!TOTAL SCAM. NEVER AGAIN. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Really enjoyed the pupusas and tacos. Only critique is that I ordered food at 5pm and they were already out of some meat options.

This taco truck was located on the tennis court side of Crown State Beach parked along the street. There was one person waiting and no line so I decided what the heck.I've been in a Mexican mood lately coming and buying Mexican style food. The lady taking orders was very nice greeting us and generally kind. She was thorough in asking for our orders with any changes or additions such as the sauce. I ordered the 3 tacos for $11. My wife and kid ordered the asada quesadillas. They offer a green, red and chile sauce for your food.I opted not to have any but asked for pico de gallo instead. We also ordered Horchata, bottled water, and orange soda. They give you about a 12 minute wait for your order. They said the same wait for the person behind me.The tacos came out on corn tortillas and the quesadillas were flour tortillas. All were in small trays covered with aluminum foil and marked which order was which. They gave us the order with paper towels and forks included a bag. The drinks were hands carry. The Asada flavor was what one expects and the carnitas were fine also. There wasn't anything very outstanding about their offerings or their food..I gave 3 stars for the food +1 star for customer service.

Customer service: Amazing!!! They are super sweet, give you an accurate approx wait time and are accommodating. Food: it was okay. We ordered the pork and cheese pupusas, and there wasn't much meat in them at all. There was a good amount of cabbage and salsa given, and the cabbage tasted fresh! However, I had to use a lot of the cabbage and salsa to make the pupusa enjoyable. I'm thinking of giving them another try though! Drinks: I got horchata and their Tropical Breeze (passion fruit agua Fresca). The horchata was okay: not enough cinnamon I guess. The tropical breeze was DELICIOUS!!! Tasted like Hawaii in my mouth, and it was too sweet/sugary. Definitely getting that again!Location: LOVE that it's right next to Lower Washington Park where there's a dog park, softball field and tennis courts. There is a parking lot right next to where they park their truck so easy access to the food truck. Wait time: not a lot of customers at the same time, so not too long of a wait. We got 4 items, 10 minute wait. I'd say that's pretty fair! Overall: going to give another try once I hit up the dog park again!

I love that a taco truck is so close to our home. We've eaten here a lot. We always get the 3 grilled chicken tacos for $11. They're excellent. They're not stingy it's their ingredients. I also love how their salsa is listed by the amount of heat you want. I wish they were there more than 2 or 3 days a week.

We are frequent flyers at Almanac and like to stop in for beery refreshments. Also, we like to coddle our elderly dog with the doggy patty at Scolari's. Unfortunately on our recent visit the line at their food truck was way too long so we opted to try something different. I have to say the nachos were pretty good. I wasn't too hungry so they were a meal in themselves. Nice mix of all the usual veggies, beans, cheese, etcetera.Do nachos count as vegetables? Virgil ordered the squash pupusas which were a hot and oozing with cheese treat. We had two of the salsas and whichever one I had was off the charts hot. I was in actual physical distress with tears running down my face. Since we couldn't get Dear Dingo her usual doggy patty we opted for the tacos which she seemed to enjoy. She didn't eat the tortillas for some reason.
