Nice people Delicious food My son asks for Tacos from here all the time.My wife loves the burritos from here.I only pay and go eat at home whatever leftover

Having read in a news article about the Richmond "tacos corridor" or 23rd Street, we decided to venture forth and tried out a few places, as we lived in Richmond so this is literally like in our back yard. First tacqueria we tried was Tacos La Raza. Tucked in a corner of the parking lot of the La Raza Market, this place has a few tables outside, but otherwise it is mainly take-out. They are known for unusual meats, so for our first try we ordered cabeza (meat from cow head), and suadero (rose meat, or the smooth muscle between the cow shoulder and belly), in additional to our usual- al pastor. The pastor was very good. The marinated pork was juicy, just chewy and fatty enough, and topped with a spicy salsa roja. The cabeza was chunky and meaty, full of flavor and also topped with the salsa roja. The Suadero was like a braised brisket, very tender, and very tasty with either the red or green salsa that were provided on the sides. The parking lot gets full by noon with people shopping at the market, so get there early or you will be circling around the blocks looking for parking.

I wish I could give this more than five stars this to me is a 6 Star Pl. all day every day. I just had had the best Asada super burrito I've ever had in my life the way it comes with green sauce and red sauce on the side it was so good and tasty. I had to call people to tell them how good this burrito is. It came with a side of radishes of grilled Serrano and a grilled onion, which were all equally as tasty, I have never had a better burrito in my life. It may be in a parking lot in the corner with two green tables, but this place is the best. The people behind the counter are extremely nice.

Okay, average at best! I used to come here a lot but they've been slipping the last few times.The burritos are generally good and you can't go wrong with steak. However the last few times I came here, the meat on the al pastor tacos was super fatty and the tortillas were dry.Also be aware, they charge for extra salsa!But there is still some good, plenty of parking and they're always quick. Also you can't beat their price of $2 tacos.

A hole in the wall!Their alpastor is . Their salsa roja and grilled cebollitas con Chile tatemado on the side are a bonus. I came across this place from a cashier at a taqueria in San Francisco. Lol to say the least. Definitely a local spot for me.

Tacos La Raza is a food dispensary in the left corner of the parking lot. it's not a food truck nor is it in the Market parking lot. just 10 ish parking spaces. 1 table for dining in.offerings: tacos, tortas, quesadillas, drinkseats: suadero, lengua tacos @2.25-garnish of onions, cilantro, salsa.-suadero tasted mushy, don't usual eat it since i seldom see it.-lengua was tender, moist,-portions decent sized, tasted fresh, good flavors.*couldn't real enjoy food here, felt guilty eating in my car while everyone was looking for parking, so i left and ate elsewhere.frijoles refritos:-menu is short, dated, simple-street parking isn't easy either. -wouldn't repeat as i doubt i could find parking again. food better than average.

The food is really good here what it lacks is customer service, there has been a few times i went here and my order was wrong, and it seems like the person taking orders doesnt want to be there, almost like shes rushing my order place would be a 5 star i just think they need new staff somebody who actually wants to work.

Customer service is trash. They drenched my tacos in hot sauce and put no verdura after I said not so much sauce, when I went back the bitch in the front had an ugly ass attitude and a stank face. When I told her she got my order wrong she asked "what do you want me to do about it ?" Like are you stupid ? I want you to fix it ! All she did was put cilantro and onion and wrapped it back up. Now I'm stuck with nasty cold tacos.

Pastor tacos NEVER miss for me! This is my go to taco place hands down. Can't say the same for the asada burrito I had once. I only come here for the tacos.
