If you know about Tacos El Gordo then you know!!! This one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Bay Area! Well at least to me it is lolThe meat is so good, I love it here! I usually call and make my order for pick up so I don't have to wait! I love the hospitality here! Customer for lifeeeeee

"Guess the Prices!"This is a small establishment with a small parking lot off a busy street. There is a nice covered patio with picnic tables. However when it comes to the menu, the customers are kept guessing. The prices have all been taped over. Maybe at one time the prices were listed, but I sure don't see it now. There is also a chalkboard, which is half legible.Nevertheless, I assumed the prices would be reasonable and they were. I paid about $8 for two steak tacos. They were surprisingly tasty, and came with sauce, limes, and vegetables on the side. My order was delivered quickly to me.So overall a mixed visit. The food was pretty tasty, but it would be good to know ahead of time how much I would be charged.

It's hard to find a good taco place, but glad I live near this one! They have 2 locations in San Leandro. I had been going to that one for years and then with this location opened I was happy! It's outdoor so you can enjoy the outdoors and bring your dog too! You order at the counter/window, no table service. I like how quick it is. Order, grab, eat at table or take home. I always order tacos but their quesadilla, burrito are also good!

Always good ....get the al pastor burrito with no rice but everything else (rice doesn't belong in burritos!) and sliced avocado ...they grill their al pastor on the trompo..the only way it should be done!

Late night delivery order , received taco like this only dry meat and the tortilla . What do you guys think ?

Delicious wet burrito it was asada (steak)with red and green sauce. Service was fast and they were really polite. I would definitely recommend this place they were pretty generous with the meat and sauce.

Not the first time I've been and ordered these tacos but today...today was a little different and finally deserved a review. This review is for the tacos only. There was no line and we got our food pretty quick. Today these tacos hit the spot so much that right after we came home from eating, I knocked out from what was probably one of the best food coma ever. If you're basic as hell and always only order carne asada or al pastor, I highly recommend you try their specialty meats. We had cabeza and suadera which on their menu translates into something like beef cheek/head and beef navel, respectively. (Just try it, don't think about it)!Super flavorful, fatty, melt in your mouth cabeza tacos glistening with just the perfect amount of grease to gently coat the soft but durable tortilla is seriously the combo you need in a street taco. The suadera is equally flavorful but has more of crispy deep fried texture that just makes sense. I had three and the hubby had 5. And that's it.

Giving an updated review:I have been sleeping on their burritos. I ordered a carne asada burrito with pinto beans and my boyfriend ordered an al pastor burrito with no beans. I took one bite of his and put my burrito down. His was so flavorful and yummy! I killed half of it. Total for 2 burritos was $29

I don't know what happened on Saturday, but the al pastor was kinda mid. It was just oily and under seasoned. Make sure you check your bag, because I asked for extra salsa after she told me she already gave me two. Got in the car to see one salsa and no guacamole or sour cream for my quesadilla which I requested on the order. The lady was overall decently nice, but she was definitely a little short, so if I again had no other options I guess I'd be back.

Love this place! Made to order, they got all the works. Could eat the food nonstop. Everything on the menu is delicious, easy stop and go access for a quick bite to eat.
