I don't recommend ordering from Sukhi's. They leave out items in your original order and then when they resend them to you, they arrive damaged due to careless packaging. Why would you put a glass jar of mango chutney in an envelope!?

I bought the chicken tikka masala from this business and it was good. Very tasty even when just microwaved.

I'm a huge fan of Indian cuisine. And Sukhi's food offerings are just as good as anything you'll find at your favorite Indian restaurant. They sell everything from samosas to curries to chutneys. You can find them at Nugget Market, United Market, and some other big grocery chains (in the Asian food section). For just $4 you can get their Tikka Masala, their Korma, and Vindaloo sauces to prepare at home. My favorite is the Tikka Masala curry. All you need is a pound of chicken or protein of your choice (cut up into little pieces), a cup of water, and a 1/2 cup of whipping cream. Throw it all into a sauce pan and let it simmer. And in 15 minutes, you'll have a spicy meal for 4 - 5 people. It's really that simple. Serve it with some basmati rice (which you can buy for cheap in the store), and maybe a little garlic naan (which you can heat up in the oven), and you're all set. The flavors and aroma are exactly the same as you'd find at your favorite Indian place. Believe me, you'll be licking your plate clean, and all your friends will think you made this dish from scratch. And best of all, there's very little clean-up since you're cooking everything in one pan.I see that Sukhi also sells frozen version of their dishes that you can microwave at home, but I think their home chef collection of sauces are the better way to go. This ain't no TV dinner; this is a legit Indian meal made with a terrific (and gluten-free) curry paste and chicken. FYI, if you decide to go with the samosas (which you can find in your store's frozen foods section), I would recommend cooking them in the oven instead of microwave it for maximum crunch/flavor. And if you're on the hunt for a quick lunch, I'd stock up on their frozen Indian burritos (my favorite is their Chicken Tikka Masala). They only cost about $3.50 and they only take a few minutes to nuke. It's a satisfying lunch or dinner, and a spicy alternative to your regular frozen burrito. As you can tell, I'm a huge sucker for Sukhi. If you like spice and all things nice, make sure to add their curries and burritos to your shopping list.

Sukhi's has an amazing repertoire of Indian cuisine. While I haven't yet found her pumpkin naan, her jalapeno chutney and classic Indian curry mixes are discoveries. Her mango chutney is OK, and her "medium spicy" tikka masala is INCREDIBLY spicy. She has a range. When she's great, she excels, but when she's OK, she's meh.Sukhi emigrated from India to the US in 1985, gaining the attention of prestigious chefs like http://marcussamuelsson.com/ Her gourmet foods are good, but not great. Oddly, she has few vegetarian/vegan dishes and her samosas tend to be dry. Top Chef hostess Padma Lakshmi has her own line of prepared foods, so all it takes is for Sukhi's to spice things up.

Well, I can only attest to the samosas this time around since I was on my way to a pool party, but I remembered seeing the reviews on Yelp so I stopped by and picked up a samosa. This was definitely one of the best samosas I've had with the sauce making it totally hit the spot. The take-away naan and sauces looked delectable and I'll have to try them out another time when I can take them with me... mmm

At first glance, I almost would have passed them by as yet another farmer's market near Eastern bread and chutney/sauce/hummus pusher. Looking closer though, they have some innovative products such as the naanwich. The naanwich is a pre-made sandwich (without preservatives) that is made up of a long and thin naan folded in two with filling in between. Acknowledging that it is pre-made, I will not harp on factors that would make it better in a made-to-order enivornment: fresh vegetables, fresh herbs, generous yogurt sauces, etc. As a pre-made product with 2 days refridgerator life, it surely beats most grocery store or convenience store options!Chicken Tikka Masala Naanwich: Fresh and homemade tasting masala sauce. It's got a little kick, but probably toned down for the general public... wish they offered a spicy version. The chicken is tender breast meat, which works well for me since I prefer white to dark. The outer texture of the naan is freakishly smooth. I suspected artificial additives and none were to be found, so it's probably more the fault of moisture escaping to the plastic wrapper barrier. Pretty messy for a sandwich, so keep a bunch of napkins handy.Chana Masala Naanwich: Definitely not your typical savory chana masala. The garbanzo beans are cooked to the point of being pasty, which works very well on a sandwich. The masala is full of sweet and sour to match the savory and (mildly) spicy, probably a factor of chutney/pickles added on. Less messy than the chicken tikka masala naanwich, but the same issue about moist naan.

Tried the samosa , disappointed ,the shell is nothing like a samosa's shell it is weird shaped , too oily and the filling is no where close to authentic samosa! The CTM is extremely salty. Rice is a disappointment , has no lemon in it as the name suggests.
