Sozo Sushi Restaurant

The food here is amazing. I got the emperor maki and the California tray for a party and everyone loved it. The service was fast, polite, and courteous. I ordered as a pick-up so I didn't stay long but the ambiance seemed nice and chill. If you're in Pleasanton and need some sushi for a party or gathering I highly recommend getting it from this place.

Very calm pleasant dining experience in a strip mall. The staff are very attentive. It was our first time trying this place and will be back to try other items on the menu. There is a very large, and I mean very large selection of special rolls. We ordered shrimp and veg tempura, batter is so light which kept the veggies with a good crunch. The Cadillac roll was good. We will skip the Marilyn Monroll next time, too much creaminess on the scallop which overpowered the roll.

We moved out of state and have tried several sushi restaurants elsewhere but have never found a place that compares to Sozo's. The rolls are fantastic and so varied and there are so many other entries and other options as well. Sozo's chefs, and the wait staff are outstanding. We never miss a chance to eat here whenever we return to Pleasanton. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who enjoys top quality dining.

We had a Korean bibimbap style of sushi bowl. It's really good. The raw fish is very fresh, the salad is very crunchy and the rice you mix in is sushi style rice and is very tasty.

Sozo is the best! Love dining in, love the new decor. It's our go to place! The sashimi was great, the spicy scallop hand roll was perfect and the dragon roll was so good we got another one! I already want to go back!

Both me and my son feel sick after eating at this place. Will never go back again. Spent $50 to suffer for two days.

i have loved going to this place with my fiancee for over a year now. always fresh, delicious and served with a smile even when very busy. i ordered take-out today but someone else mistakenly grabbed my order - not the staff's fault! my order was re-made in under ten minutes on a busy night, with noticeably extra care. i will be back again, thank you Young, Jason and Tae Sung for your professionalism!

Dinner For Two is a great combo with generous portions and a good value. We order delivery and the food arrives well packaged.
