Sk Donut & Cronut

My first time experiencing this place was when a cousin who lives in Union City introduced us to cronuts. Love at first bite! The cronut holes are my preference but you can't go wrong with a classic glazed cronut. My husband prefers the class maple bar or apple fritter and truth be told everything the ladies behind the counter offer you is a "W" (aka win as the kids say these days). The bagels and breakfast sandwiches are delish for those wanting a bit more substance to their meal or are more into savory grub. Jalapeño cheddar bagel anything is my fave.There are 3-4 bench type booths and a few benches outside, reminds me of some of the old skool Winchell donut shops from eons ago. So not too much seating but considering there's usually a line of people ordering the shop always feels full, which is indicative of how good the food is. The Vietnamese coffee is strong, like no joke strong, which is how I like so for those of you caffeine heads this is a definite must try and those that are caffeine sensitive beware!All in all, other than some long lines and limited seating-which to me are negligible-this spot is one of the best in tri-city for a great donut, cronut, bagel, etc. I'll try to slow down our family devouring everything next time we go and update to add some pics.

I am not a donut person!However, I am a cronut hole person! I was introduced to cronut holes and I'm addicted. It's flaky and has a nice glaze on top. I only get it once in a while because of how easy I can go through them. It has been a while, so maybe it's time for me to stop by again. It's a great gift to bring into the office or bag it up as goodie bags for the holidays!

My hubs and I had happened to come upon here because we were looking to buy some donuts in the area. When we looked on yelp, SK Donuts was the closest to us and we also discovered that they sold cronuts and also cronut holes which I've never seen or had before.They had an overwhelming amount of donuts to choose from and it was very hard not to order more. We got a couple of cake donuts, a crueller, a glazed cronut, a crème brûlée donut which she gave us the option to have it filled with custard (because the cost was the same with it filled or not). We also got half a dozen of cronut holes which is the minimum you could order for it. They had two types of cronut holes: one coated in sugar and the other was glazed. I definitely prefer these over regular donut holes. All of the donuts were delicious! It's awesome that they're also open 24 hours so you can grab donuts whenever you want.

As someone who's born and raised in UC, SK has always been a staple for donuts. It's your solid local donut shop that has definitely grown in range from ube cake donuts, to cronuts and more. Had to come here and give them props on the tasty sweets. Very kind service, and truly smells wonderful inside. Also excited to see they're 24hrs now! That was the biggest news. Now I know where to go if I'm craving a midnight snack.

Solid donuts and cronuts, these cronuts are better than some Of the fancier places I've tried, they are light, crisp on the outside and not too oily. Extra points for being open late in the evening!

Cronut holes for the win!! SK has been around for a while now and has always been a go to donut shop for my family.So glad that they expanded their menu to include these cronuts bc they are just delicious! Light.. airy and just enough sweetness. The place itself is pretty small with a few tables along the perimeter. The breakfast sandwiches are huge and the price is just right.

Lots of parking and very fast service, got the entire family working. Cronuts: 3.5/5, definitely have had better. Ham and cheese egg bagel: 1/5, not sure what I was eating Good amount of seating inside, very big space for a donut shop

Love getting donuts and cronuts from here and especially love that they are open 24 hours now! It's my go to for when we have potlucks since they're open at all times.

This review is for the cronut holes only. A co-worker always picks up a box of custard-filled cronut holes for work parties and gatherings, and they are absolutely the most delicious cronut holes I've ever had. I wish they were closer to me, but maybe it's for the best--they're so good, I'd probably overindulge if they were nearby.

About that comment about having never stepped foot into the place? Well today's been the big day of change. Finally visited them in person after a night shift. Decor is simple and straight to the point. Again, the food didn't disappoint. Went with the personal favorites of bacon egg & cheese bagel w/ jalapeño, cronut holes, and apple fritters for the Mrs. And The Little one. Held the jalapeño for the Little One though.
